Sheriff Country starts with Mickey Fox realizing that she's the new interim sheriff, as their boss has been killed recently. Mickey has always been a determined deputy who wants to protect her community and ensure peace in Edgewater.
However, crimes are increasing in the town, and people do not trust the new sheriff. This means Mickey already has a task to win everyone's trust. Soon, a theft case emerges. Turns out that food was stolen, and the thief is a child named Simon. When Mickey starts the investigation, she learns that Simon took food for his sister.
This way, a small crime is revealed to be much darker as Mickey also discovers that Simon's sister is being starved, abused, and kept hidden. This has resulted in the child being malnourished, and Mickey does everything to save her.
After a tense confrontation with the culprits, Mickey was able to solve the case. And just when she thought it was all for the day, her daughter ended up being connected to the murder of her boyfriend.
Skye is already struggling to keep herself sober and now she's gotten into big trouble. Being a mother, it would be hard for Mickey to solve the case and find out who stabbed the man.
