What happened in episodes 23-24 of Shine on Me: A quick recap
Episode 23 of Shine on Me begins with Nei Xiguang revealing to his father that his goddaughter mentioned that she's the daughter of Mr. Nei, whom Lin Yusen liked and had called him for cherry blossoms in Wuxi.
While Lin Yusen saw Nei Xiguang and belived that it was her, he rushed to meet her when the invitation was sent after he completed a surgery. But little did anyone know that Ma Nianyuan manipulated the situation, which resulted in a misunderstanding.
When Nei Xiguang's father learns the truth, he lashes out at Ma Niangyuan for lying. Xiguang also told him that Niangyuan was so cold that she didn't even bother to visit Lin Yusen once when he met with that accident.
