Sister Wives star Christine Brown's memoir titled Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family, and Finding Freedom launched on September 2, 2025.
Christine's memoir reveals incidents and how they unfolded while she was with her ex-husband, Kody Brown. Fans must remember he was also married to Meri Brown, Janelle Brown, and Robyn Brown.
The book focuses on Christine's spiritual marriage with Kody, their relationship, addiction, becoming a mother, and more. She also wrote about losing Janelle Brown's late son, Garrison, among other significant incidents from the show.

Before her memoir's release, Christine Brown shared a post via Instagram on August 26, 2025. She mentioned how writing her story had been a "journey" for her.
Sharing the excitement with her fans and viewers, the Sister Wives star captioned the post with the following:
"I can't believe my book comes out in just ONE week! Writing my story has been such a journey, and now I finally get to share it with YOU!"
The upcoming Sister Wives Season 20 is set to premiere on September 28, 2025. Before that, Christine Brown's memoir was released, featuring various revelations from her personal life.
After Meri Brown and Janelle Brown, Kody Brown got married to Christine, and she became his third wife. In her memoir, she stated that the two hit it off immediately since their first meeting at the church.
Fans must remember how Christine and Kody Brown announced their split in 2021. Following that, his other two wives, Janelle and Meri, also announced their split from Kody in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
Referring to her time with her ex-husband and getting married, Christine wrote:
"Looking back, I thought it would be the best night of my life - magic. We stayed in a motel shaped like a castle near Ogden, Utah."
Sister Wives star added:
"I remember Kody opening the door and looking at me in my shroud-like dress. I remember realizing he was stressed out on our wedding day."
After spending a year with him, Christine felt "lost." She mentioned being "so confident" at the time of their marriage, but later her personality "eroded."
Even after realizing that the two didn't have a "functioning marriage," they stayed together for over a decade. She wrote that she couldn't respect him if he wouldn't help her with their children.
"I realized I didn't have a functioning marriage. … It's over, I thought. I can't respect him if he won't help me with our children," she wrote.
Elsewhere in the book, Sister Wives star also mentioned her oxycodone addiction after her 2016 surgery. At first, she was taking them as prescribed medication for the pain. Later on, she learned that it was the addiction which her daughter helped her get rid of.
Christine also opened up about Janelle Brown's son, Garrison's, demise in her memoir. After Janelle shared about the substance abuse, they were able to have conversations about the same and how they could watch for the signs in their kids. She referred to Garrison as their "beautiful, insightful" son.
TLC will premiere Sister Wives Season 20 on September 28, 2025.
