SNL Season 51: The show will return with a new episode on January 17, 2025

After SNL Season 51 Episode 9, featuring Ariana Grande and Cher, aired, there was no new Saturday Night Live episode release. It is because the show has been on a winter break.

The upcoming episode will be released on January 17, 2025. For that, the show released a few clips via the social media platform Instagram. The upcoming episode will feature Finn Wolfhard making his Saturday Night Live debut. Along with him, A$AP Rocky will join as the musical guest.

One of the clips shared by SNL's Instagram featured a skit based on a popular show, Stranger Things. It featured artists, including Kyle, Beck Bennett, Sasheer Zamata, Melissa, Kenan Thompson, and more. They appeared as Will Byers, Mike Wheeler, Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair, Lucas's parents, Eleven, and Will's mother.

The scene was: Mike, Dustin, and Lucas were out while the latter's parents were looking for him. Soon, they found them along with Eleven. Just before their arrival, Lucas said he was not afraid of anyone. But listening to his mother's voice, looking for him, he mentioned that he was scared.

Lucas' parents asked him to return home. He told them that they were looking for Will, who was in the upside-down. Listening to him talk about the Upside Down and demogorgans, they were confused.

Soon, Will's mom arrived in a confused state of mind. The SNL skit also featured Eleven, who tried to stop Lucas' father from taking him home.

There was another skit featuring Kyle and Beck Bennett. It was based on a New Year's countdown scene. It started with Kyle calling Beck for a New Year's party address.

"So yeah, the whole crew went to this underground speakeasy spot. So just walk out the bar. And then you see that bodega, across the street? Alright, so don't walk towards that. Instead, look down and lift open that manhole. But not the one right beneath you. The one to the left of it. You might need a crowbar," said Beck.

Kyle was shocked to listen to the instructions. He asked about the crowbar. But Beck told him that the bodega from earlier had a guy inside the store. He would have the crowbar. When Kyle looked at the store, a guy inside the store was waving a crowbar.

Soon, Kyle got the crowbar and opened the manhole. He followed strange instructions and finally arrived at the club. However, when he arrived, Beck had already left.
