"Something to do with trauma": Sister Wives star Kody Brown gets candid with his brother Michael about his relocation

Sister Wives Season 20 Episode 4 aired on October 19, 2025. The latest episode of the TLC show featured cast members including Meri, Kody, Roby, Christine, Janelle, and more.

One of the conversations featured in the latest episode was between Kody Brown and his brother Michael. It started when Michael asked the reason behind moving to a new house.

Sister Wives star Kody Brown shared that he wanted to change his environment. He also talked about the emotional trauma and told Michael:

"It was such a want to change my environment. And that's pain...that's just from pain. And it has something to do with trauma, emotional trauma. In those right when Robyn had the epiphany where she just went, I am done with Coyote Pass."

The latest Sister Wives episode featured a conversation between Kody and his brother Michael.

Michael cheered with his brother while talking about his new house. Fans must remember that Kody and his wife, Robyn, have been preparing for their move. Michael asked him the reason behind the shifting. He also told Kody that he loved that house.

"I'll be really honest with it. It's just the pain and the experience living here through COVID and the break-ups," shared Kody.

In his private confession, Sister Wives star, Kody Brown, noted that he and Robyn spent five years in that house. He recalled incidents that took place in that house and noted that it was a "very very painful experience."

Kody noted that there was pain and trauma from that house. After that, when Robyn told him about her epiphany, that she was done with the Coyote Pass, they decided to move.

Further in their conversation, Michael asked Kody how Robyn was liking being the only wife. Responding to that, Kody shared that Robyn struggled through the "whole thing." He was referring to his divorces from his former wives.

"With the expectation of plural marriage, when the other wives left, I wondered my value to her was diminished. I mean, I...I'm still wondering," shard Kody Brown.

In her private confession, Sister Wives' Robyn shared that it felt great being the only wife, in "some ways."

However, she added that it was not what she had expected when she got married to Kody.

"And while I love Kody, I did not ever intend or expect or want to have him to myself. I always wanted to live plural marriage," added Robyn.

In their conversation, Michael told Kody that he grew up watching him as the "coolest polygamist." Kody talked about how hard plural marriages have been for him.

He also recalled the time when Christine divorced and left him, and he was angry. Kody stated that he felt like a victim. Kody noted that he still couldn't talk to Christine.
