Song Joong Ki’s highest-rated drama since Vincenzo just got a green light for Season 2

An exciting update for K-drama lovers! Vincenzo star Song Joong Ki's hit drama Reborn Rich has finally been greenlit. Thanks to its unique and gripping story of Yoon Hyun-woo, a man who serves as one of the most loyal and dedicated employees for the powerful Soonyang Group.

It's a major family-owned conglomerate, or "Chaebol" as we call it in Korean. Despite giving his all, Hyun-woo ends up getting betrayed, framed for tax fraud and eventually murdered.

Then comes the most awaited supernatural twist in Reborn Rich, as Hyun-woo wakes up to find himself back in 1987. More shockingly, he's now in the body of Jin Do-jun, the youngest grandson of Jin Yang Cheol — the same Soonyang chairman whose family was responsible for his death.

This way, Hyun-woo starts rewriting his fate with an ultimate goal to settle the score with the ones responsible for his death. As the series progresses, Hyun-woo uses his future knowledge to outsmart his rivals and gradually take control of the Soonyang empire.

The show became one of Song Joong Ki's most acclaimed works and also stands as the second highest-rated series in Korean cable television history. With the renewal of a second chapter, the makers are aiming to make the story globally recognized.

Song Joong Ki's popular drama Reborn Rich is renewed for Season 2

From Descendants of the Sun to Vincenzo, Song Joong Ki is one of the globally acclaimed South Korean actors. He also did a cameo in another hit K-Drama, Queen of Tears, in which he reprised the role of Vincenzo Cassano as a diverse attorney for Hae-in.

The renewal announcement of this Song Joong Ki drama was made by Artist Company and Artist Studio, two entertainment companies that have now teamed up for the first time on this project.

The new chapter is shifting the story to a global level, which means there will be new characters, hidden secrets, and above all, ruthless enemies. Not only this, but the universe is also expanding beyond the Soonyang family from Reborn Rich Season 1.
