What made these final games stand out wasn’t just their cruelty, but how deeply personal they became. From a deadly version of Hide and Seek to a terrifying rope jump over a collapsing bridge, each round raised the emotional and physical stakes.
And the last game, the Sky Squid Game, brought everything full circle in a showdown that rewrote the meaning of victory. If you’ve been wondering what these final games were all about and how the season reached such a shocking conclusion, below is a complete breakdown of every deadly challenge that closed out Squid Game Season 3 and why they hit harder than ever before.
All three games played in Squid Game Season 3 explored

Squid Game Season 3 continued from where the previous chapter left off. The players had already played three games, and now it was time to introduce the next challenge. So, here's a list of the three games played in the final chapter of the daily competition:
1) Hide & Seek
Hide & Seek is the fourth game, according to the queue that began in season 2 and the first one played in Squid Game Season 3. The players begin by drawing red or blue balls. The ones with blue balls are supposed to hide while the ones with the red balls must kill at least one blue player to pass the game.
To make it even more brutal, the red ball players are given daggers, while the blue ones have keys to unlock rooms and hide. During this game, Jun-hee (Player 222) gives birth, thanks to Geum-ja and Hyun-ju (Player 120).
In the most heartbreaking point of Hide & Seek in Squid Game Season 3, Hyun-ju is stabbed in her back, which results in her death. This happens just a few seconds after she found the exit.
Other major character deaths in this game include Dae-ho (Player 388) and Geum-ja's son, Yong-sik (Player 007), who dies at the hands of his mother. Consumed by the guilt, Geum-ja hanged herself to death after passing Hide & Seek.

2) Jump Rope

The fifth game in Squid Game Season 3 is Jump Rope, which brings back the giant doll Young‑hee and her newly introduced boyfriend, Cheol‑su. These dolls are placed opposite each other with the ends of a steel rod that players have to pass.
This game requires balance, as one wrong step leads to a tragic death. As the game begins, Min-su triggers Nam-gyu by showing him the pills he has been taking. Nam-gyu almost made it to the other side, but his desperation for the narcotic pills led to his death.
Another shocking death in Jump Rope is of Jun-hee (Player 222), who decided to sacrifice herself. Jun-hee made this decision to save her newborn daughter, whom she gave to Gi-hun.
3) Sky Squid Game

Sky Squid Game is the last challenge in Squid Game Season 3 that takes place on a three-level tower shaped like a square, a triangle, and a circle. Each level lasts 15 minutes, and players must eliminate at least one opponent on that tier to proceed.
Failure to kill someone means everyone dies. In a climactic twist, Gi-hun pushes Myung-gi off and then chooses to sacrifice himself, leaping off rather than kill Jun-hee’s baby. With Gi-hun dead, the infant becomes Player 222 and the sole survivor, officially the winner. The island destroys itself afterwards.
