In episode 3 of St. Denis Medical Season 2, Joyce first brings in a therapy horse to lift everyone’s spirits.Joyce thinks that this will cheer everyone up. But what she's actually excited about is a new gadget she’s just bought: the Tomo Pod. It can scan the entire body, and having that Joyce thinks that this will change the future of healthcare.She's incredibly happy about it and wants to show the tomo pod to everyone. And soon, all her excitement turns into disappointment. When the scanner is set up, problems start showing up. Dr. Ron immediately questions the machine, saying it might actually make people more anxious about their health instead of helping them.And to prove him wrong, Joce tells the hospital staff to use the tomo pod for free scans. As the episode continues, it becomes clear that Joyce herself doesn't know how to operate the machine.A technician is brought in, and to make it worse, the machine starts making loud and irritating sounds. It also comes with the risk of radiation, so the worker had to wear heavy protective gear.The noise from the tomo pod starts getting too loud that even Joyce has to run out of her office. And in the end, her plan fails (once again!). A misunderstanding takes place through Ron's computer when people start thinking he likes Serena.
