Captain Pike and the USS Enterprise crew are almost here! Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 returns to Paramount+ on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 12 am PT/3 am ET with two episodes. The eagerly awaited series follows Captain Christopher Pike (played by Anson Mount) and the crew aboard the USS Enterprise as they explore the galaxy on their five-year mission. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 episode 1 is titled 'Hegemony, Part II'.

Season 2 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds ended in a cliffhanger with the crew facing the imminent threat of the Gorn. Episode 1 of Season 3 will take the story forward with the crew facing off the dreaded species while rescuing the Federation officers held captive by them.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is the prequel to The Original Series, which aired on NBC from 1966 to 1969. The new show follows events that take place several years before The Original Series. Several of the Original Series characters are part of the Paramount+ series.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 2 finale also introduced the audience to one of the more beloved characters from The Original Series, Montgomery “Scotty” Scott (played by Martin Quinn).

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 Episode 1 will premiere on Paramount+ on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 12 am PT/3 am ET. Episode 1 of Season 3 is titled 'Hegemony, Part II'.

The new season will comprise 10 episodes, with the season finale slated to air on September 11, 2025.

The Star Trek series is exclusively available on Paramount+ in the U.S., the U.K., Australia, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Japan, and Canada. About Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3

Captain Christopher Pike and the USS Enterprise crew are on their five-year mission as they explore the galaxy. At the end of Season 2, we find the crew fighting off the monstrous Gorn and trying to rescue the kidnapped Federation officers. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 will kick off episode 1 with the crew facing off against the Gorn and some new challenging villains in play.

The cast, including Mount and Quinn, will reprise their respective roles in the upcoming season. The returning cast members include Ethan Peck as Spock, Jess Bush as Nurse Christine Chapel, Celia Rose Gooding as Nyota Uhura, Babs Olusanmokun as Dr. Joseph M’Benga, Rebecca Romijn as Una Chin-Riley, Christina Chong as La’an Noonien-Singh, Melissa Navia as Erica Ortegas, and Paul Wesley as James T. Kirk.

Paramount+ had recently announced that Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will conclude with Season 5. As per the creators of the shows, the series will end right before Captain Kirk takes command of the Enterprise.
