Episode 4 of Season 3 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will premiere on Paramount+ on July 31, 2025. The third season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will resume with the upcoming episode "A Space Adventure Hour." On Thursday, July 31, 2025, the episode will debut and be accessible only on Paramount+. As in previous seasons, new episodes are published every Thursday.

"Wedding Bell Blues," the second episode, brought some comedy to the season and focused on character relationships, mainly as Nurse Chapel concentrated on her work and became closer to Dr. Roger Korby; Spock and Chapel had quite an emotional conflict.

As per the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds storyline, Trelane, a strong and naughty alien from The Original Series, was also featured in the episode. John de Lancie's voice appearance was a welcome surprise and confirmed the widely held fan theory that Trelane could be linked to the Q species, and the tone darkened in "Shuttle to Kenfori," the third episode.

To find a special plant that may cure Captain Batel's Gorn DNA disease, Captain Pike and Dr. M'Benga went to a Klingon research facility. They encountered Bytha, the daughter of a Klingon envoy who had been assassinated by M'Benga during the conflict, and Klingon undead while on the assignment. Bytha ultimately gave her life in a dramatic and poignant incident, despite her desire to redeem her family's honor. In keeping with their long-standing bond and trust, Pike chose to maintain M'Benga's secret.

Throughout the expedition, Lieutenant Ortegas also showed signs of stress and disobeyed orders. Trauma from earlier encounters with the Gorn was linked to her behavior. Consequently, Number One removed her from active duty and instructed her to get help. In addition to strengthening Ortegas' character, this subplot suggested that personal issues may be explored in the future.

Looking ahead, Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Episode 4 may expand on these occurrences. We could see more of Captain Batel's makeover and how the crew deals with the Gorn menace. There might also be further development in the Chapel-Spock-Korby plot, and M'Benga's background could play a part. The series may also explore new worlds or alien cultures while remaining loyal to its episodic style.
