In the latest development aired by TLC featuring Big Ed, he opened up about his faith and more. Big Ed in the video titled "The latest from Big Ed" from 90 Day Diaries, stated:

"My name is Ed. I live in Northwest Arkansas and I'm 59 years young. My mom and dad were devout Catholics. We went to mass every Sunday. But I stopped going to church. I stopped talking to God. I thought he was mad at me because he wouldn't give me what I wanted, which was a wife."

90 Day Fiancé: Big Ed shares the latest update, including his faith, past relationships, and latest engagement

TLC shared a latest video clip on July 8, 2025, featuring Big Ed opening up about his past relationships, coming back to his faith, talking to God, and more. He reflected on his journey since being on the 90 Day Fiancé franchise.

He talked about his parents and shared:

"And you know, after a really long year, which included a really hard breakup, I wanted to give back to my faith."

While opening up about getting back to his "faith," Big Ed praised.

He was asking for a woman who would help bring him "closer" to God.

"My 90 Day journey began about five years ago, while one day I was scrolling on social media and met Rose.....I was hoping that love would overcome all of our issues, but I was wrong," confessed Big Ed.

An old clip featuring Big Ed and Rose was shown, where she shared her thoughts. 90 Day Fiancé star Rose told Big Ed that he thought she wanted his money and not him. That was the reason why she was "done."

"So it didn't work out with Rose, but eventually I met with Liz, and it was love at first sight for me. And after dating for several months, we got engaged."

However, a year later, 90 Day Fiancé star Big Ed realized that Liz was not the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. He revealed that he was "single again" and was searching for his life partner.

His mom, Norma, came to visit him. She asked him what was going on with him. A clip featuring Big Ed proposing to his fiancée, whom he met 24 hours before the proposal, was shown in the video.

"It was crazy...crazy story. So I'm in Florida doing a fundraiser, and this beautiful Italian girl comes in, olive skin, brown hair, brown eyes."

He said they had a "really good" connection. Soon, 90 Day Fiancé star Big Ed asked the manager for a paperclip and made a ring out of it. Big Ed then proposed to the girl he had met 24 hours before. After they got engaged, he soon learned that somebody had posted a photograph on social media.

"By the time I had landed, somebody had posted a photograph of us, and it...the picture went viral."

Big Ed told his mom how the picture "scared" his fiancée to death. He then revealed that he was no longer engaged, and that it was "too fast."
