Stranger Things' Season 5, Volume 3 is scheduled to be released on New Year's Eve and has a runtime of two hours and five minutes. With so many rumors of the final scenes going on, the show's fans are all about wondering how the five-season series will end.

Finn Wolfhard, who played the character of Mike Wheeler, brother of Nancy and Holly Wheeler, recently discussed the final scenes during his appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.

During the interview, the actor admitted to tearing down after the last scene was filmed. He added:

"It's a big moment of… like transitioning from this really tentpole thing that was a part of your identity for so long, especially because it was our childhood. So it was a lot to take in. It was like our weird little version of school. Except the school was in front of everyone."

Finn Wolfhard has been one of the main characters in the series, appearing from the beginning as Will's friend and Eleven's love interest. With only two weeks left until the final episode, fans are excited to see the surprises and twists Stranger Things has in store as the series comes to an end.

Finn Wolfhard talks about the three-minute moment during the Stranger Things final scene

Finn Wolfhard, during his talk with Jimmy Fallon, said that the ending of the series is extremely emotional. He made the ending more special by having a three-minute special moment with the cast.

Giving the details of the same, he said in The Tonight Show:

"I told the cast, "Before they call 'wrap,' before we go out to the crew, let's just take like three minutes for ourselves." Like once they say "Cut," let's just spend time and really collect ourselves and really just like try to be as present in the moment as we possibly can. And that was really like the most special moment ever."

The main cast of the show includes Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Natalia Dyer, David Harbour, Gaten Matarazzo, Charlie Heaton, Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Winona Ryder, Joe Keery, and Sadie Sink.

The interview also included a fun segment where Wolfhard summarized Stranger Things' upcoming episodes in one word. When asked about the final episode, titled "Rightside Up," he used the word "emotional."

Mike's co-star, Noah Schnapp, who plays the role of Will, Mike's best friend in the series, also revealed recently that the crew broke down in tears after filming the last scene.

Will Stranger Things have a spinoff?

While Stranger Things will end in two weeks, there's still good news for the fans, as the creators of the series, The Duffer Brothers, have confirmed the spinoff of the series.

The Duffer Brothers are releasing their upcoming project titled Tales From '85 next year. The synopsis of the series on Netflix reads:

"Welcome back to Hawkins in the winter of 1985, where the original characters face new monsters — and a paranormal mystery — in this epic animated series."

However, viewers will get to see a whole new cast instead of the regular cast that appeared in the original series.

Speaking of the current characters and the story, Matt Duffer told Variety:

"We do every last remaining thing we wanted to do with the Demogorgons and Mind Flayer and Vecna and the Upside Down and Hawkins and these characters. This is a complete story. It’s done."
