Angry Sylvester, the penultimate episode of Suits LA, marks the return of Louis Litt. And let’s just say, the fan-favorite attorney hasn’t changed much since the conclusion of Suits. He is still as impulsive, easily irritable, but at the same time adorable, as he was in the original series.
While Louis meets Stuart Lane at a ‘hostility mitigation program’, aka an anger management program, Ted prioritizes his personal relationships over professional benefits, leading to Erica’s disappointment.
At the same time, Rick tries to get actress Dylan Pryor signed for her dream project, but things end up turning intimate between the two. Here is the complete Suits LA Episode 12 recap.
Suits LA Episode 12 recap: Louis Litt finds a new frenemy in Stuart Lane
Stuart Lane has taken a week off work and joined an anger management program to clear his mind of David Bowie’s threats. As soon as he reaches the program, he encounters Louis Litt, and the two fight over a luggage trolley, making the audience realize that they are similar in more ways than one.
Their tussle continues as their sessions begin, and both share how they have been tormented by their respective law firm partners and friends, Ted Black and Harvey Specter. When Stuart finally opens up about how he is facing issues due to a criminal’s threats, Louis relates to him and offers to hang out for drinks.
Suits LA episode 12 also reveals some details about Louis’ family life, explaining how he is happily married, has two young kids, and a cat named Alice. As Ted and Louis bond over drinks, the latter, in his signature style, asks the former to join him for mud bathing. Stuart obliges, and the two have some more heartfelt conversations about their career and families, deciding to be friends by the end.
Suits LA Episode 12 recap: Rick faces a tough choice
Dylan Pryor, who was seen in the pilot episode, returns to the show and meets Rick. She wants to star in a film based on Larry McMurtry’s life, which is being produced by Melissa Johnson. When Rick personally goes to meet Johnson, she refuses to cast Dylan up.
Rick gets to know that the film will be directed by Sean Baker, who happens to be Ted’s client. He seeks help from his former boss, and the two threaten Johnson that if she does not give Dylan a role in the film, Baker could be disappointed and leave the project. The producer is forced to agree and sign the actress.
Meanwhile, Dylan grows closer to Rick and, in the end, tells him how she wanted to celebrate her success with him. She kisses Rick, who initially kisses her back, but then pulls back and walks away, as he is still confused about his feelings for Erica.
Suits LA Episode 12 recap: Ted chooses to help Samantha against Erica's wish
Erica tells Ted that Nicole Kidman, who is currently Samantha’s client, might be looking for a new law firm. She wants to meet the actress for dinner and convince her to sign with Black & Associates. However, Ted instead tells Samantha about the whole situation, leaving Erica furious.
He eventually comes clean to her about how he and Samantha share a history, and sometimes lawyers need to make personal choices. With flashback scenes, it is revealed that Eddie testified for his father in court, so the jury could be a little soft toward him and imprison him for a shorter number of years.
Ted’s dad asks his sons to meet for dinner one final time before he goes to prison, which hints that the meeting could be linked to Eddie’s death. In the present, Ted’s revelation helps Erica understand Leah Power’s situation, who has been feeling undervalued at work.
Leah gets her own office space at the firm at the end, and opens up to Erica about her troubled childhood, which forced her to change her surname from ‘Ho’ to ‘Power.’
