The CW's show Sullivan's Crossing season 3 premiered in the US on May 14, 2025, while its episode 2 is set to release on May 21, the next Wednesday, as per its weekly release schedule. In the first episode of Sullivan's Crossing, the show sets up the characters and their feelings following the diner fire tragedy. It centers on Maggie Sullivan, who has just returned to her hometown and is a neurosurgeon. Harry “Sully” Sullivan is her estranged father and the owner of the local general store and campground.

Maggie's feelings for Cal spice up as she goes for lunch with him. But right after a kiss, she pulls away, suggesting something that is holding her back. Maggie is a brilliant but emotionally guarded neurosurgeon from Boston. She returns to her hometown after a medical scandal, which leads to the suspension of her license. She is also going through a personal trauma, which further derails her life from the track. She is now trying to rebuild her career and her identity. She romantically connects with Cal, but she is afraid to be vulnerable again in Sullivan's Crossing.

Morgan is popularly known for her character in The Hot Zone, When Hope Calls Christmas, and The Girlfriend Experience.

Cal Jones is a former military man turned outdoorsman and handyman, now living and working at Sullivan’s Crossing. Cal carries emotional scars from his past, including a broken marriage and PTSD-like trauma. He’s a quiet anchor in the community. Cal opens up about his past to Maggie when he grows closer to her.

Chad is known for his roles in A Cinderella Story, Freaky Friday and One Tree Hill.

Maggie’s father and the gruff but big-hearted owner of the general store and campground in Nova Scotia called Sullivan's Crossing. He is estranged from his daughter, Maggie. Sully is somehow feeling guilty for his shared past with Maggie. He is stubborn and is a lovable, oddball character in Sullivan's Crossing.

Scott has played several complex characters, like his portrayal of Special Agent Peter Strahm in the Saw film franchise and Luke Danes in the popular show Gilmore Girls.


Tom Jackson as Frank Cranebear

Tom's character is the kind and introspective elder of the community and Sully’s closest friend. He is also someone Maggie realizes and ultimately shares her grief with. He’s deeply tied to the land and its traditions. Frank continues mentoring younger characters, including helping Maggie through grief. His own legacy becomes a topic as he considers the future of the community.

Some of his popular works are Shining Time Station, North of 60, and The Red Green Show.


Andrea Menard as Edna Cranebear

Frank’s strong-willed and visionary wife, she is a leader in her own right, especially at the Outpost. She is not afraid to challenge the old guard and is a steady force in the community.

The actor shared credits in Moccasin Flats, Rabbit Fall, and Blackstone.


Season 3 of Sullivan’s Crossing also brings back a list of supporting actors, including Amalia Williamson as the free-spirited artist Lola Gunderson and Lindura as Sydney Shandon, who is finding her voice amid personal change. Dakota Taylor returns as Rafe, the young and ambitious interim fire chief, alongside Reid Price as her brother, Rob Shandon, who is struggling to rebuild after a major setback in Sullivan’s Crossing.
