Survivor Season 48 Finale Recap: Finalists face various challenges, after which Mitch was eliminated

Survivor Season 48 Episode 13 started with the effects of Shauhin's elimination from the previous episode. After Kyle and Kamilla's plan worked, they headed towards the Final 4. Soon, castaways faced the Tribal Council, where they saw five podiums. There was a puzzle lock.

Whoever can unlock the puzzle and find the hidden key will have an advantage during the upcoming immunity challenge. Eva won the advantage, and they moved to the immunity task. After completing a series of tasks successfully, castaways were supposed to unlock a survivor fire puzzle.

For that, Eva had an advantage. She was leading while Kamilla was also there. Closely following Joe, who was also trying to solve the puzzle, Kamilla won the immunity challenge, and she grabbed her spot in the Top four.

Later in the episode, Kyle and Kamilla discuss and plan to vote Mitch out. Soon, she also told Mitch about their plan to eliminate him, which Eva, Joe, and Kyle also knew later. Mitch was then voted out by the castaways, who then joined the jury members.

Survivor Season 48 now had two strong alliances: Joe and Eva against Kyle and Kamilla.

For the final immunity challenge, each participant had one hand tied while they dropped a ball into the metal chute. The ball had two exit points. Once the ball came out, participants caught it and took it back to the top. There would be an additional ball, making it harder for the castaways to catch it.

After Eva was the first to lose, and Kamilla followed her, Joe and Kyle competed against each other. However, Kyle won and became one of the Final 3 castaways. He would decide his opponent for the fire challenge.

After Kyle decided to get Joe in the Final 3, Kamilla and Eva advanced to the fire challenge. While Kamilla struggled to start the fire during the challenge, Eva was leading. However, Eva's fire was soon about to fade, but Joe helped her. As a result, Eva won while Kamilla joined the jury, becoming the final member.

Kyle, Joe, and Eva were the three finalists in the Survivor Season 48 Finale. Soon, they faced the jury, which asked them questions about their gameplay before voting.

Each of the finalists shared their answers. While Joe's answers were simple, Eva and Kyle shared their thoughts and answered the Jury's questions. For the voting, each of the finalists, Joe, Eva, and Kyle, received one vote and tied the score.

Eva received the fourth vote, while Kyle received the fifth. Kyle received the sixth and seventh votes, making him the winner of Survivor Season 48.
