Survivor Season 48: Kyle Fraser won the trophy, title, and the prize pot
CBS aired Survivor Season 48's last episode on May 21, 2025. The finale episode featured five finalists, from which Mitch was eliminated after Kamilla's immunity challenge win. The final four, Kamilla, Joe, Eva, and Kyle, celebrated being in the finale.
The next immunity challenge featured an exciting task. For that, finalists had to keep one hand tied, and they were only supposed to use one hand. They had to drop a ball in the tube and add more balls. Simultaneously, they had to keep catching the balls and keep adding them. Participants who drop their ball are eliminated from the challenge.
With three balls dropped, Eva was the first to get eliminated from the immunity challenge. Kamilla was next. Kyle and Joe were still playing, but Joe dropped a ball, and Kyle won the immunity.
As a result, Kyle was rewarded with a spot in the Final Three and one step closer to the winners' title. As promised to Joe earlier, Kyle took him to the finale; hence, Eva and Kamilla competed to grab the last spot in the Final Three.
They participated in the fire-making challenge. Despite Kamilla getting her fire started first, it faded. In the meantime, Eva was able to spark her fire, and soon, her flame was roaring. As a result, Eva won the task and became the third finalist.

While Joe said his nature was to trust people easily, Eva mentioned her autism. Kyle talked about the beginning of the competition, which wasn't that great for him.
The next question was from Mitch, who asked about the relationships the finalists built during their time on the show. Eva mentioned Joe and her loyalty to their alliance. Later, Star asked about the hidden moves contestants might have made, while David asked about the gameplay examples.
While Eva and Shauhin discussed the latter's elimination, Kamilla said Kyle should reveal his move. Kyle then opened up about how he and Kamilla came up with the gameplay, which resulted in Shauhin's elimination, even though he didn't have the secret idol.
The final question that Survivor Season 48 finalists faced was why they deserved to win the title. After the three finalists shared their thoughts, the jury cast their votes. Show host Jeff read the votes and announced Kyle as the winner of the show.
