Survivor Season 49 Finale: Who won the CBS show?

Survivor Season 49 released its finale on December 17, 2025. The reality show featured five finalists: Kristina, Rizo, Savannah, Sage, and Sophi.

After the final immunity challenge and the rewards challenge, jurors returned to cast their votes. As a result, Savannah won the competition with four votes.

Before that, Kristina and Rizo were eliminated, while Sage and Sophi were the two finalists alongside Savannah. Jury members opened up about the finalists and their performances.

By the end of the finale, the jury members went through one last voting process. The show host, Jeff Probst, then revealed the votes. Savannah received four votes, while Sophi received two, and Sage had one vote. It meant, Savannah won Survivor Season 49. She took home the grand prize.

On Night 24, the final Tribal Council featured the jurors returning for their final voting. By that time, five finalists were still in the game.

After Kristina's elimination, four finalists went ahead with the finale. Soon, they saw Rizo's elimination. Fans witnessed three female finalists: Sage, Savannah, and Sophi.

On Day 25, the four finalists went through the final challenge. There were many tasks in this last Survivor challenge. They faced exciting obstacle courses, including balance, digging, a table track, and more.

Sophi was the first one to complete all the tasks, followed by a puzzle. She sent Savannah and Rizo to the fire-making challenge. She noted that she made the decision with her head, and not with her heart. Additionally, she chose Sage as a fellow finalist. Rizo lost the challenge and was eliminated from the show. It meant Savannah moving to the finale.

While leaving the show, Rizo noted:

"Sometimes not all the best players win."

He added that despite his elimination during the show's finale, he had no regrets.

Day 26 on Survivor featured three female finalists Sophi, Savannah, and Sage. Soon, the host invited the jury members to the Tribal Council. This included Nate, MC, Alex, Sophie, Jawan, and Steven. Later, Kristina and Rizo were also added to that after their elimination from the finale.

Jury members shared their thoughts on who they wanted to win the show via private confessionals. Alex wanted Sophi to win as she had been the "underdog." Nate stated that he wanted to see Savannah win because he saw her as a "killer."

Jawan noted that everyone underestimated Savannah. He wanted her to win. The final Tribal Council started with Rizo's Q&A as he shared how happy he was for the finalists.

Later, the jury members cast their votes to choose the winner. While most of the votes were kept secret, a few of them were revealed. MC's vote was for Sophie, while Steven voted for Savannah. Jawan's vote was for Sage.

Jeff Probst then revealed the final votes.:

• Sophi: Two votes
• Sage: One vote
• Savannah: Four votes.

With the most votes, Savannah became the Survivor Season 49 winner.
