Talamasca: The Secret Order Episode 4 recap - Guy’s messy undercover mission and Helen’s search for answers

In the previous episode of Talamasca: The Secret Order, Guy was captured by Jasper and kept in the London motherhouse. In Episode 4, he tries to learn the motives of the rookie Talamasca agent, while Guy also tries to find out more information about him and his search for the 752 book.

While still suspicious about each other, Jasper still reveals the reason why he was looking for the book and also sends him on an undercover mission to find out about Archie's death. However, the mission turns into a bloody mess, and Guy is saved by Checkers and Doris.

The episode also sees Helen looking into her own past to discover more about it.

Talamasca: The Secret Order Episode 4 recap - Jasper reveals his past to Guy

In the previous episode of Talamasca: The Secret Order, Jasper had kidnapped Guy and was keeping him in the London motherhouse. In the latest episode, both the vampire and the Talamasca agent were far from trusting each other. But he still reveals the suspicion that Archie was killed by a vampire.

With Guy asking him about why he was looking for the 752 book, Jasper unravelled his backstory and told him about a vampire named Fascille from the 1200s. He used to only drink chicken blood so that he didn't have to harm humans. However, someone ratted him out and revealed his well-kept secret, which got him expelled from the coven.

As time went by, Fascille's anger and resentment toward his own kind increased, and he went after the vampire who revealed his secret. With the help of the Talamasca agents, a bloody clash ensued, destroying a whole coven, leaving just one survivor, who was Jasper himself.

Therefore, to take revenge on the secret society, he wants the book and destroys the whole society in the process.

Talamasca: The Secret Order Episode 4 recap - Guy goes on an undercover mission

Apart from sharing his motives of destroying the secret society in Episode 4 of Talamasca: The Secret Order, Jasper also shares with Guy that he has suspicions that a vampire named Harris might be behind Archie's death. He then sends Guy with Checkers on an undercover mission and uses his mind-reading abilities to find out more information.

However, as they go to the coven location, Guy meets Raglan James, another Talamasca agent, who easily finds out that Guy was up to something and threatens to reveal it. However, Guy spins back the threat and tells him that the Talamasca has learned about his secret business with Harris, and makes him take himself inside the meeting.

While Guy succeeds in convincing him, it turns out to be a rather messy situation for him.

Talamasca: The Secret Order Episode 4 recap - Doris saves Guy, and Helen searches for answers from her past

While Guy accompanies Raglan to the meeting, the latter turns the tables and offers the new agent to the vampire leader in Episode 4 of Talamasca: The Secret Order. He only needs to prove that Guy was a mindreader so that they would take him and end the deal. While Guy gets cornered by the vampires, it was Doris, the witch, who initially warned Guy not to go in there, but then came to save and informed Checkers about it, who in turn saved Guy's life from the Vampire coven.

As Jasper came to look at the messy scene, he learned that the business was about buying the blood of an ancient vampire who was being bled dry for the blood, resulting in Jasper's hatred toward the secret society growing more.

Elsewhere, Helen, while reminiscing about her childhood, goes to visit the graves of her parents and finds a bouquet. Initially, she thinks it was her twin sister, but after asking around, she learns that it was someone else and goes to meet Alice, another character who grew up in the society, and gets her hand on a mysterious note from her.
