Considered one of the recent comfort K-dramas, Tastefully Yours finally concluded on June 10, 2025. The series followed a 10-episode run, starting off modestly but building up to an ending that fans had been eagerly waiting for.

The story kicks off with Han Beom-woo, the heir and money-hungry businessman of the Hansang Group, who crosses paths with a dedicated chef, Mo Yeon-joo. Initially, Beom-woo thought he'd be able to trick Yeon-joo and steal her recipes, like he has been doing with others.

But little did he know that Yeon-joo's real passion for making good food and her sincerity would change him. Gradually, the two fell in love, and Beom-woo ended up abandoning his plan to shut down Jungjae.

As seen in the penultimate episode of Tastefully Yours, Beom-woo returns to Jungjae to save the restaurant and participates in the cook-off organized by his mother, who also happens to be the chairman of Hansang Group. Beom-woo also came clean to Myeon-suk and Chun-seong, with the three teaming up for the cook-off.

The finale of Tastefully Yours opens with the cook-off between Jungjae and Motto, with the judges being Hansang's chairman and the editor-in-chief of the Diamant guide. While Myeon-suk and Chun-seong are excited to see the judges, Beom-woo realizes that her mother being one of them means she will try hard to ensure Jungjae loses.

The special judge reveals that the main ingredient is chicken, which means both restaurants have to make something special using chicken. Beom-woo quickly opens Yeon-joo's recipe book, and they find a unique dish named Coq au Vin, a French dish with a Korean touch.

However, the whole village ran out of chicken, thanks to Beom-woo’s mom trying to sabotage the team. Still, they didn’t back down. They were determined to find chicken no matter what, even if it meant settling for frozen.

Since Yeon-joo is absent, Myeon-suk takes the lead and prepares the dish. Meanwhile, at Motto, Chef Young-hye adds a French twist to a Korean dish, and the Diamant editor-in-chief finds both creations fascinating.

As the last episode of Tastefully Yours continues, Hansang's chairman asks the producer to film the documentary in a way that benefits her. Not only this, she admits that the child who's most important to her is Hansang Group and that the cook-off means nothing to her.

As the cook-off ends, the Hansang chairman announces a tie, though it’s clear to everyone, including the Diamant editor-in-chief, that it’s a lie. Jungjae had clearly won, but since Motto is part of Hansang, the chairman just couldn’t accept the loss.

Yeon-joo then visits Motto, where she meets Beom-woo's assistant, who tells her how the chairman raised her sons. Despite being their mother, she spent most of her time making money and didn't even have the time to attend her own mother's funeral.

This revelation sheds light on why Beom-woo strayed down the wrong path under his mother’s influence, but it also shows how much he’s changed since meeting Yeon-joo. Upon learning the truth, Yeon-joo heads back to the village, as the cook-off is not yet over.

The chairman announced a rematch, and Yeon-joo accepted it. She demands a fair competition and also claims that if the Hansang chairman does not like her food, she will close the restaurant forever. The next day, Yeon-joo prepares the special dish, and it surprises everyone.

Yeon-joo admits defeat, but Jungjae wins in Tastefully Yours Episode 10

The day before the rematch, Beom-woo had a conversation with his brother, helping him realize that while their mother worked tirelessly to give them a good life, they never really got to share any true moments of happiness as a family. It was their grandmother who truly cared, but after her, there was barely anyone to comfort them.

The conversation also brings the two brothers closer, as they’d never really had a moment where they could open up to each other like real siblings. As Tastefully Yours nears its end, Yeon-joo finally presents her special dish.

She asks Beom-woo and Seon-woo to join their mother at the table and enjoy a meal together. In a surprising move, Yeon-joo says that she didn't prepare the dish to be judged. She made a home-cooked spread for the chairman and her sons so they could finally share the kind of family dinner they hadn’t had in years.

The chairman initially planned to spit out the food made by Yeon-joo for her documentary, but the meal was so good that she had to abandon her plan. Not only this, she even praised Yeon-joo's dish and said there's no need to close Jungjae.

A heartfelt ending where everyone finds peace

Before Tastefully Yours ends, it features the reunion of Beom-woo and Yeon-joo as the two move forward in their journey together. The Jungjae team is as strong as before, and Myeong-suk even collaborated with Chun-seong's restaurant to serve the special chicken she made during the cook-off.

The finale of Tastefully Yours also treats fans to a surprise appearance by Park Ji-hoon, who shows up at the restaurant to try Myeong-suk’s special dish. The chef is overjoyed to see the beloved actor walk through the door as he plays her favorite character.

But the moment gets even better for fans of Weak Hero, as a clever nod comes when Chun-seung, played by Weak Hero Class 2's Yoo So-bin, serves Park Ji-hoon's character a drink and casually asks, "If you don't mind me asking, which high school did you go to?"

Ji-hoon’s character responds with a serious stare, the kind that instantly shifts the mood. Chun-seung looks startled, quickly backs off, and says, "Enjoy your drink." It’s a brief but hilarious moment that leaves fans grinning at the clever crossover.

Later in the episode, Chef Young-hye and Yu-jin also resign from Motto, and the two are seen peacefully managing a food truck. Even though it's not as big as a restaurant, it's where they find peace.

As for our favorite couple, Yeon-joo and Beom-woo finally share a kiss, and the two live happily in the village, managing their three-star restaurant, Jungjae. This way, Tastefully Yours features a heartfelt end for each character, once again proving how comforting this K-drama has been.

THE END!
