Kang Ha-neul's newly released culinary rom-com, Tastefully Yours, returned with the awaited Episode 3 on May 19, 2025 on Netflix. The story kicks off right where it ended, leaving fans and viewers curious if Yeon-joo will discover Beom-woo's original plan.
The episode “Partially Soaked” opens with Yeon-joo watching Beom-woo as he leaves an angry voicemail for his older brother. She assumes he's talking to his girlfriend, but in reality, he’s upset about Chef Yeong Hye leaving him to join his brother’s restaurant.
This means Beom-woo got saved, as Yeon-joo didn't really hear that he talked about "stealing" the recipes from the talented chef. Soon, Chun-seung also shows up drunk and picks a fight with Beom-woo.
Yeon-joo and Myeong-suk watch their hilarious fight as the two won't stop pulling each other's hair. The next morning, Beom-woo wakes up with a bald spot due to the fight and says, "It's an honorable wound that shows I fought for a restaurant."
Episode 3 highlights how incredibly Tastefully Yours is balancing heartfelt storytelling, rivalry and comedic moments. As the story continues, Beom-woo then tries to get the recipe for seopsanjeok from Yeon-joo.
Beom-woo says that the dish was so good that he "kept thinking of it". But little did Yeon-joo know that he was actually trying to steal the recipe from her.

Tastefully Yours Episode 3 recap: A rumor spreads in the town

Tastefully Yours Episode 3 continues as Beom-woo asks Yeon-joo for a recipe, but she barely pays attention to him. While they’re in the kitchen, her landowner suddenly arrives with potential tenants to show them the place, catching Yeon-joo off guard.
When she asks what exactly she is doing, her landlady replies, "The whole marketplace is saying this restaurant's ruined. The rumor is all over town". This leaves Yeon-joo and Beom-woo frustrated and shocked as they both think of only one person who can do this: Undoubtedly, Chun-seung.
The two then find Chun-seung and call him out for his actions. Beom-woo feels like picking a fight again, but Yeon-joo stops him. They return to the restaurant, only to find Chun-seung has stirred up trouble again.
Officials confirm that a concern was raised about the restaurant’s fire safety measures and its health certificate. Beom-woo then proves it wrong, but they find the half-Chinese chili powder, due to which Yeon-joo is asked to pay a fine even though she didn't use it.
That's why Yeon-joo chose to buy chili powder secretly from the neighborhood store owner in Tastefully Yours Episode 2. She has mentioned using only Korean ingredients, but the chili powder is half-Chinese.
The chaos continues as Beom-woo takes revenge by reporting Chun-seung's garage, followed by the two parking their vehicles in front of each other's restaurants. The back-and-forth between Beom-woo and Chun-seung creates some truly hilarious moments in Tastefully Yours Episode 3.

A sweet scene turns sour as fire breaks out in Tastefully Yours Episode 3
Tastefully Yours Episode 3 continues as Beom-woo and Chun-seung’s ongoing feud keeps them from getting any work done all day. Beom-woo finally gets inside the house and just when he's about to sleep, Myeong-suk calls him and informs him about Yeon-joo's bus trip to the Yang house tomorrow.
Yeon-joo is out of meju, and she couldn't connect with the Yang house owner, due to which she decides to visit the place by herself and get the ingredient. Beom-woo accompanied her and they found out that the owner isn't well, and couldn't prepare the meju for Yeon-joo.
Being one of the most stubborn and dedicated chefs in Tastefully Yours, Yeon-joo decides to prepare the meju by herself and tells Beom-woo to join him. Since the two worked really hard, the Yang house owner gifted them four boxes of meju.
As Beom-woo and Yeon-joo head home, it starts to rain. They take cover at a nearby bus stop, but when Beom-woo starts getting wet from a leak in the shelter, Yeon-joo gently pulls him closer to keep him dry. The small gesture leads to a quiet, heartfelt moment between them.
However, it's soon cut short as Beom-woo receives a call that a fire has broken out in their restaurant. They find the place has been completely ruined, thanks to the ever-chaotic Chun-seung.
Chun-seung realizes he didn’t start the fire at Yeon-joo's restaurant

As seen in Tastefully Yours Episode 3, Beom-woo decides to report arson and file a police complaint against Chun-seung. However, Yeon-joo gives him three days to fix the restaurant as his last chance.
Chun-seung shows up on time but struggles to get anything done. He admits that while he was raised as a spoiled kid, he once had dreams and wasn’t always this lost. Hearing this, the restaurant trio begins to feel sympathy for him, and Beom-woo steps in to help.
Later, he also helps Yeon-joo in registering for an upcoming food contest, as the prize money could fix all their problems. Later in the Tastefully Yours episode, Chun-seung is on his way home and remembers that he did break into the restaurant but didn't cause the fire.
Turns out, someone else was behind the damage. So, who could it be? Beom-woo's brother? Or could it be someone from Yeon-joo’s past? We also see old photos of her with a few chefs, possibly from her time at culinary school or a previous restaurant.
Interestingly, one of the old photos in Tastefully Yours Episode 3 features When the Phone Rings actor Yoo Yeon-seok, who’s confirmed to make a cameo. It hints that his character might have been a chef as well.
The episode ends with Chef Yeong-Hye showing up in the town. Beom-woo lies that she's his ex-girlfriend who has been obsessing over him. When Yeong-hye asks Yeon-joo if she knows who Beom-woo actually is, she replies, "I'll figure that out for myself. The ex-girlfriend can stay out of it."
The end.
