A well-known actor from a recent hit thriller is set to appear in a special cameo that fans didn’t see coming. The drama, which stars Kang Ha Neul and Go Min Si, made its debut on May 12, 2025, through ENA and Genie TV, and is also available to stream on Netflix.

So, who's joining the cast for a special appearance in Tastefully Yours? It’s none other than Yoo Yeon Seok, the lead actor from the suspense-filled drama When the Phone Rings. The actor played the lead role of Baek Sa-eon, whose personal and professional life takes an unexpected turn after his wife is kidnapped.

Following his intense acting skills, Yoo Yeon Seok even earned a Best Couple award alongside co-star Chae Soo-bin at the 2024 MBC Drama Awards. And now, the actor is all set to engage fans in the newly released rom-com.

Tastefully Yours Episode 1 didn't seem like this would be another hit rom-com, but Episode 2 proved it wrong. The K-drama is now becoming popular among fans, thanks to the actors and the captivating narrative it offers.

To ignite more curiosity among fans, the show will feature a cameo by When the Phone Rings star Yoo Yeon Seok. While his character details are kept under wraps, Yeon Seok's appearance is more than just fan service.

According to reports, the actor is close friends with Tastefully Yours creator Han Jun Hee in real life. This cameo will mark their first collaboration, a significant and thrilling experience for both of them.

What has been the story in Tastefully Yours so far?

If you still haven't watched Tastefully Yours, this is the best time to stream, as only two episodes have come out so far. The series begins with Kang Ha-neul's Han Beom-woo trying his best to get the three stars for his restaurant.

However, it's not an easy task, as his brother is striving for the same. Whoever brings those stars first will be the owner of their well-known food company. To leave no stone unturned, Beom-woo steps into a quiet town to steal the recipes of a diner run by Go Min-si's Mo Yeon-jo.

As seen in the rom-com, the locals call Yeon-jo's diner a hidden gem, and this is why Beom-woo is desperate to steal her recipe and use it for his success. But little did he know that Yeon-jo is an incredibly dedicated chef who cannot be fooled easily.

Now, she and Beom-woo have finally reached a contract, according to which Beom-woo will have to work with her at the diner for at least a month. This unexpected alliance leads to lighthearted and heartfelt moments between the characters.

With Episode 3 scheduled to arrive on May 19, 2025, fans are excited to dive back into the drama and see if Yeon-jo learns about Beom-woo's hidden motives. While they work together, Beom-woo will slowly fall for her, but will Yeon-jo accept his feelings?
