The Abandons cast and character guide: Who plays whom in the upcoming Western drama?

The Abandons is Netflix's latest Western action drama series, starring Lena Headey (Game of Thrones) and Gillian Anderson (Sex Education). The seven-part series is created by Kurt Sutter and will arrive on the platform on December 4.

The Abandons is set in the Washington Territory in 1854 and follows a deadly collision between the haves and the have-nots. Heady plays the character of Fiona Nolan, an Irish woman who leads the titular pack through her four adoptive children. She struggles to keep her recently acquired home from the Van Ness, a European aristocratic clan led by Anderson's Constance Van Ness.

The series will follow the intense collision between the two families, led by their respective matriarchs, who are bound together by crimes, secrets and an illicit love affair.

The Abandons cast: Meet the Nolans

At the heart of The Abandons is the titular pack of have-nots and abandoned souls, adopted by matrirach Fiona Nolan, played by Lena Headey. Fiona Nolan is the fierce and ambitious matriarch of her clan of misfits, who has vowed to protect her adopted family from the Van Ness and to expand her cattle ranch in Silver Hollow. A warrior and a mother, Fiona Nolan stands as a shield in front of her children.

Nick Robinson as Elias Teller: Known for his roles in Netflix's Maid and Jurassic World, Robinson plays the character of Elias, Fiona's adopted son. While Elias was given a second chance at life by Fiona, he starts to rebel against her after seeing her destructive ways.

Diana Silvers as Dahlia Teller: Best known for her character in Booksmart, Diana Silvers is another addition to The Abandons cast. She plays Dahlia, Elias' sister who was adopted by Fiona when she was a child. While her brother rebels, she stands in support of her mother's rage against the rival clan.

Natalia Del Riego as Lilla Belle: Del Riego will play Lilla, another member of Fiona's pack who is known for her fierce loyalty. While she is looked down on as a weakling in her family, she is determined to prove herself in the fierce battle with the Van Ness.

Lamar Johnson as Albert Mason: The Last of Us fame actor is an important addition to The Abandons cast as he plays Albert, the leader of Fiona's pack. He is the level-headed backbone of his family that might hold the key to winning the war against the rival clan.

The Abandons cast: Meet the Van Ness clan

Fiona Nolan and her pack of misfits might be here to rule, but they will have to face the Van Ness clan, ruled by their matriarch Constance, played by Gillian Anderson. Constance Van Ness was left to fend for her children and her family's mining business after her husband's death. However, her ruthless powers proved beneficial and she doubled those fortunes, standing like a shield between her children and the misfits clan.

Toby Hemingway as Willem Van Ness: The Black Swan fame actor is another addition to The Abandons cast, who plays Constance's eldest son.

Aisling Franciosi as Trisha Van Ness: Trisha is Constance's daughter, who finds herself falling for the rival clan's kindred spirit, Elias. Trisha is torn between her cold mother's thirst for war and her newfound feelings for Elias.

Lucas Till as Garret Van Ness: Garret is the younger son and the proclaimed heir of the Van Ness clan. Eager to prove himself, he struggles to move out of his mother's control.
