Selling the OC Season 4 premiered on November 12, 2025. The first episode of the latest season marked the return of many new and some familiar faces.

One of the agents, who previously worked for The O Group, Tyler Stanaland, opened up about working for his family. In his private confessional, Tyler talked about the bonds and relationships he had built at the office.

While leaving was a hard choice, Tyler noted that he needed to make it. With the brand new season of Selling the OC, he opened up to the cameras about his current work and his return:

"It's been almost two years since I stepped away from The O Group. It was tough because I built friendships and relationships with people in the office. So to leave was not an easy choice, but it was what I needed. Now I'm back working with my family at the Stanaland Group, and that's the best choice I ever made."

Selling the OC Season 4: Austin Victoria meeting Tyler Stanaland after a year and a half

Selling the OC Season 4 Episode 1 saw Tyler Stanaland meeting one of the listing agents, Bobby Dadvar. The meeting was at the Rockledge Road, Laguna Beach listing. It was a 3-bedroom, 4.5-bathrooms, and spread across 5,000 square feet. After purchasing the house, they remodeled the whole house.

The O Group's Austin was meeting Tyler at the listing. He confessed to being excited but also nervous about their meeting. The reason behind his nervousness was:

"We've texted back and forth, but, you know, it's bittersweet. He cut me and all of us out of his life after he left The O Group, so I try to give him the benefit of the doubt, but obviously, you know, it did...it did hurt me a bit."

After Austin arrived at the listing, he and Tyler talked about the property. They explored primary, game room, wine room, views, and more throughout the listing. Later, Selling the OC star Austin asked how he had been.

"I've been good. Work's been crazy. We have like 50 active listings now. But like over a half a million in inventory. So..." shared Tyler.

Austin also asked whether Tyler had been in touch with anyone from the office. In response, Tyler noted that he had been in hibernation for a year and a half.

Tyler recalled feeling stuck and couldn't get out of it. He mentioned that the situation got weird and messy with Alex Hall. He noted that starting to work with his family had been the best decision for his professional career.
