The S.A. Cosby novel All The Sinners Bleed, a New York Times bestseller, is a thrilling tale of the first Black sheriff of a small county who is forced to protect it against a serial killer, while the county and its people are not completely ready to accept him and the idea of change that he brings.
The Netflix adaptation is set to explore the thriller and the layered themes that it carries with Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù as Titus Crown, the lead who is battling with the grief of his mother's death. The official longline reads:
"Haunted by his devout mother’s untimely death, the first Black Sheriff (Dìrísù) in a small Bible Belt county must lead the hunt for a serial killer that has been preying on his Black community for years in the name of God."
