The Challenge Season 41 Episode 8: What went down in the daily challenge?

The Challenge Season 41 Episode 8 was released on September 17, 2025. The latest episode featured a daily challenge called Cyclone.

Each team had to climb up a structure over water and push the cubes up to the top. Later, they had to swim their way to the rafts. Since it was a timed task, timings and their progress would make a significant difference.

While Sydney and Yeremi won the latest daily challenge, CT was sent to the elimination. It happened after the two failed to score any blocks and took the longest time while swimming back to the rafts.

The Challenge Season 41 Episode 8: Yeremi and Sydney won the daily challenge while CT was sent to the elimination arena

The latest episode of The Challenge Season 41 featured the daily challenge, Cyclone, for which Will was partnered with Dee. It happened after the show host announced Theo as the hangnail because of his injured knee.

The show host then announced that the task would be a height-over-water task.

"As you can see there's a 30 foot container suspended over the water with four climbing walls on it. At the bottom of the climbing wall, are five blocks that needed to be moved to the top all while the container will be rotating over the water," announced the show host.

TJ Lavin added that after transferring the blocks, participants will have to jump in the water and swim to a raft. The distance was 500 meters. Only after they reach the raft will their time be stopped. He also stated that it was a timed challenge.

The Challenge host mentioned that the team transferring the most blocks and returning to the raft the fastest would win the daily challenge. Additionally, the winning team will be safe while choosing a team to face the judgment of the jury.

At first, four teams went up to the structure for their task. This included Derek and Aviv, Justin and Ashley, Will and Dee, and Leroy and Tay. When the challenge started, the rest of the participants were shocked after they saw the structure moving.

During the task, Ashley confessed to the cameras about the structure:

"I feel like I'm on a merry-go-round trying to hold...I mean, this thing is moving."

Justin and Ashley were the first team to put up their first block on the upper side of the structure. Soon, Will and Dee also successfully put their first block. Soon, while trying the second block, Justin accidentally lost his grip and lost the block. He also fell down soon after that.

First four teams' results were:

• Derek and Aviv: 1 Block: 7:58 Swim time
• Leroy and Tay: 0 Block: 9:44 Swim time
• Will and Dee: 2 Blocks: 10:15 Swim time

The next four teams' results were:

• Derrick and Adrienne: 2 Blocks: 6:20 Swim time
• Turbo and Jonna: 1 Block: 7:55 Swim time
• Gabe and America: 0 Block: 9:35 Swim time
• Yeremi and Sydney: 4 Blocks: 7:12 Swim time

The third set of teams' results for the daily challenge were:

• Jake and Aneesa: 2 Blocks: 7:25 Swim time
• Leo and Olivia: 2 Blocks: 8:56 Swim time
• Cedric and Nany: 2 Blocks: 9:41 Swim time
• CT and Michaela: 0 Block: 10:08 Swim time

After the daily challenge ended, The Challenge host announced that Yeremi and Sydney "killed it." The duo won the task and the benefits that TJ Lavin announced earlier.

"It was a very impressive performance," said TJ Lavin.

He also announced the three teams with a zero block score. They were: Gabe and America, Leroy and Tay, and CT and Michaela. Since CT and Michaela took the most time during their swimming part, they were the last team. As a result, CT was sent to the elimination arena to face the elimination challenge.
