The Chi Season 7 Episode 11 recap: Alicia befriends Candice, and Bakari seems to be dying

Alicia infiltrates Reg’s circle in The Chi Season 7 Episode 11

After Detective Toussaint’s attempts to catch Reg remained unsuccessful in The Chi Season 7 Episode 10, Alicia decided to continue her own pursuit to get hold of the criminal. In Episode 11, she decides to try a new method, which involves getting close to Reg’s partner Candice and thus infiltrating his inner circle.

Alicia starts acting readily on her plan and befriends Candice after paying a visit to the shop where she works. She tells Candice how she can have a better life and job, and since Candice is clearly not happy with where she is in life, she gets hooked.

Episode 11 shows Candice calling Alicia at one point to talk about how she is feeling, and that confirms that Alicia has successfully gained her trust. While she has not yet done anything drastic using her to get information about Reg, it seems only a matter of time before she does that, since that remains her primary goal.

Bakari appears to be scared on Alicia’s threat in The Chi Season 7 Episode 11

After Alicia threatened Bakari to reveal Rob’s killer, Bakari seems to be in extreme tension, as shown in The Chi Season 7 Episode 11. Since Bakari is Nuck’s second man, he did not tell Alicia that it was Nuck who killed Rob. Moreover, Bakari is also scared that if Nuck comes to know that he had revealed the truth to Alicia, he might kill him.

On the other hand, Bakari is also aware of Alicia’s ability to kill him and get away with it as well. While he contemplates his options and thinks about what he should do, The Chi Season 7 Episode 11 features a section where Bakari is shown to be shot by Alicia in his legs and on his chest. It appears that he bleeds out to death on the street.

However, it turns out to be only a dream, and by the end of Episode 11, Bakari is still alive and out of harm’s way. With only one episode remaining for this season to wrap up, it remains to be seen whether Bakari gives up Nuck’s secret.
