After a mole was successful in planting evidence in the Sanchez mansion, Jorge was arrested for interrogation in the murder case of Rex Brakley.

The Cleaning Lady Season 4 Episode 10: Did Jorge's defiance put everyone at risk?

The episode began with Thony confessing to her sister, Fiona, about her romantic escapade with Dr. DuPont. Meanwhile, in the previous episode, Jorge skipped his meeting with Sam Heller to kill the cowboy hat assassin. This move turned out to be quite troublesome for the cartel leader as it spiralled into complete chaos. His vendetta led to brutal retaliation by Heller's men, who killed the families of several cartel members.

Elsewhere, DEA agent Hermann was hell bent on raiding the Sanchez mansion. When the authorities started searching for evidence, they found a photograph of Rex Barkley and his family in the house, and thus Jorge was arrested for interrogation. It seemed like someone had deliberately planted the evidence in their house.

Jorge's sudden arrest put Sin Cara's future in jeopardy.

The Cleaning Lady Season 4 Episode 10: Can Thony really lead a cartel without pulling a trigger?

With Jorge out of the picture and investors preying like vultures, Thony took a bold decision to lead the cartel until Jorge was back from prison. She initially attempted to secure a $25-million deal from the Hellers in exchange for the stolen mining papers. However, she couldn't secure a deal because of Sam Heller's ego.

When Thony was left with no other option, she turned to her sister Fiona. With the help of Fiona's business partner, Benny, Thony orchestrated a cyber heist aiming to freeze Heller's assets by installing a virus. Despite being banned from the building, Thony was successful in her mission and thus was able to secure $25 million. This scene proved that will, strategy, and resilience can outplay brutal force, but the effect might not last long.

The Cleaning Lady Season 4 Episode 10: Did Jorge betray Thony, or was there more to the story?

Just as Thony began to reconcile her complicated feelings for Jorge — especially after hearing his previous voicemail, the episode unraveled a heartbreaking twist. When Jorge was out from prison, his reunion with Thony was brief. Agent Hermann arrived to arrest her, revealing that during the interrogation, Jorge revealed that Thony had murdered Rex.

Naturally, Thony was too shocked to react to Jorge's sudden change in behaviour. Was the betrayal real or a calculated move to protect Thony? Did he sacrifice himself to save her — or was it simply a lack of trust? The episode left the viewers on a cliffhanger about Jorge's motives.

Episode 10 delivered one of the season's most shocking twists yet, as Thony and Jorge's dynamic within and outside the Sin Cara began to shift. With broken trust and power hanging in the balance, the next move looks quite crucial. The Cleaning Lady has not been renewed for a fifth season yet.
