Peacock's upcoming spy thriller, The Copenhagen Test Season 1, is all set to drop on December 27, 2025.
All eight episodes will be released simultaneously on the premiere day.
At the centre of the story is Alexander Hale, played by Simu Lu who acts as an intelligence analyst for a secret organisation called The Orphanage. But things take a wild turn when he realizes that the eyes and ears have been hacked, and now the hacker seems to be in total control. Alexander does not back down; he tries to play the hacker and acts normal to confuse them. But this isn't easy.
With constant pressure from higher authorities who question his loyalty, and the hacker still on track, can Alexander emerge from the situation unscathed? Or will he be tagged a traitor? In the trailer, we also see Alexander being involved with a woman named Michelle, whether she's an ally or foe remains a mystery.
The series is created by Thomas Brandon, who also serves as a co-showrunner alongside Jennifer Yale.
Here's who plays whom in the latest Peacock spy thriller.
The Copenhagen Test Season 1 cast
Simu Liu as Alexander Hale

Simu Liu leads the cast as Alexander Hale, a first-generation Chinese American intelligence analyst/operative. He's a pivotal part of a secret organization called The Orphanage. His perfect life is disrupted when a hacker hacks his brain, and thus, the intel chain gets compromised. Yes, he's been turned into a mole by the group of hackers. This leaves Alexander in a difficult situation as his organization accuses him of treason, and the hackers try to manipulate him throughout. But he refuses to back down, and he tries to confuse the hackers. Can Alexander be successful in his mission, or will he fail? Stream The Copenhagen Test Season 1 on Peacock to know more.
Melissa Barrera as Michelle

Melissa Barrera takes on the role of Michelle in Peacock's sci-fi spy thriller. We do not know much about her character, but as per the trailer, it seems like the character might have been involved in some spy work (maybe she's one of the intelligence operatives who's tasked to keep an eye on Alexander). What's even more interesting is that we see her flirting with Alexander Hale, and in the next few scenes, she lands some intense punches too. Overall, it's an interesting character, and it would be exciting to see how her role unfolds.
Brian d'Arcy James as John Moira

Brian d'Arcy plays the role of John Moira in The Copenhagen Test, Season 1. As the intelligence director, when he finds out that Alexander's brain has been hacked, he wastes no time and questions Alexander. He also offers Alexander two options: either to operate and remove that key part of the brain or play the hackers to trap them. In the trailer, he tells Alexander,
"From this moment forward, your life is mine. We need whoever is watching to think that you are in the clear now. Then we use you to find them or destroy them."
Sinclair Daniel as Parker
Sinclair Daniel plays Parker in The Copenhagen Test. In the trailer, she seems to be associated with the shadowy spy organization. She might be one of the junior analysts who's given the task to keep a track on Alexander Hale. She seems intelligent and sweet. When she sees Michelle flirting with Alexander, she passes a sweet comment,
"They're cute together."
