The Golden Bachelor Season 2 Episode 6: What happened during the latest Rose Ceremony?

ABC aired the latest The Golden Bachelor Season 2 Episode 6 on October 22, 2025, featuring one more Rose Ceremony. The episode featured the final three remaining female contestants:

  • Peg Munson,
  • Debbie Siebers, and
  • Cindy Angelcyk Cullers.

Before the Rose Ceremony, Mel confessed that he didn't use the word love lightly.

"I've only been in love once in my life, and I'm divorced. It hurt. So, it's complicated. There's three great women. They're all deserving. I don't want to hurt anyone. It's going to be really difficult decision," confessed Mel.

Female participants also confessed their concerns and nervousness about the upcoming ceremony. After the three finalists arrived, Mel was still on his way. He confessed that it would be the toughest Rose Ceremony. He noted that each of them was great, and that's what made the decision so hard. He felt that all three finalists deserved the rose.

The Golden Bachelor host, Jesse Palmer, announced that Mel would hand out two roses. It would mean one of them would be going home.

Soon, Mel arrived and recalled his podcast appearance where he opened up about what he was looking for in a partner. He noted that he had his own "personal mea culpa." Mel Owens noted that he thought he wanted a certain type of woman, and that he still did.

"And they're right here before me. Beautiful. Accomplished. Brilliant. Spiritual. But I have a very very very difficult decision," added Mel.

The Golden Bachelor's first rose was given to Peg, while Cindy was chosen for the second rose. After Debbie was eliminated, Cindy told her that love was waiting for her. While she was leaving, Mel apologized to her for not choosing her.

In his private confession, Mel noted that Debbie was genuine and deserved love.

"To say goodbye is very very difficult My heart doesn't feel okay with it. You know, it just doesn't," confessed Mel.

In his final conversation with Debbie, Mel apologized, to which she admitted that the situation was deeply upsetting. Still, she acknowledged that elimination was always a possibility when she joined the show. As he walked her out, Debbie grew emotional and told him to take care of Peg and Cindy.
