It acted as a reminder that the Infected are the real nightmares –the distant mumbling sound, the sudden, haphazard attack, the snarls – the scene felt like a run-or-die situation. The subway scene, in a way or so hauntingly mirrors the attack on Jackson, teasing that no one is safe from the Infected in this post-apocalyptic world. The subway sequence, according to many viewers, was one of the best recreated moments from the video game The Last of Us Part II.
