Their relationship isn’t the only one, as Kelly has also been quietly struggling with Cliff, which might take a severe turn in future episodes. Elsewhere, while Pritcher has not killed Jackie yet, he almost kills another significant character in Episode 4.

Furthermore, Leo also tries to convince Keely to pay the money to Dot and settle the case. However, Keely refuses to give in.

The Rainmaker Episode 4 recap: Sarah blurts out about the Tissue Committee

In the previous episode of The Rainmaker, Rudy learned that Melvin Pritcher killed Donnie Ray. However, they needed concrete evidence to prove their suspicions. In Episode 4, Sarah unintentionally shares this information.

While they met in the bar where Rudy still works part-time, they began discussing the case, which Sarah did not like, and she walked off angrily. Later, she came back and mistakenly revealed the Tissue Committee.

The Tissue Committee is the group that the hospital created to look into Donnie Ray’s death. It consisted of nurses and doctors, including Jackie. However, it was only Jackie among them who suspected Pritcher to be the killer. As Rudy shared the information with Bruiser and Deck, the gang was hopeful they would find something in the files that would be helpful in their case.

As The Rainmaker progresses, the viewers see how unhinged Pritcher is becoming. From killing several people since Episode 1 to kidnapping Jackie and keeping her in his cabin, he is becoming dangerous not just for the people who are trying to get him arrested but also for the ones who are trying to save him.

In Episode 4, Pritcher asks Jackie why he was let go from his job and if she has told anyone about him. Jackie confesses that she told the Tissue Committee about suspecting him of Donnie Ray’s murder, but no one in the committee believed her.

While he handles her, he realizes someone was snooping around his cabin. It doesn’t take him much time to notice Tinley Britt’s investigator, Jane Allen, lurking around. He frantically attacks her and stabs her in the stomach.

However, unlike other victims of Pritcher, Jane does not die there and reaches the hospital while profusely bleeding.

The Rainmaker Episode 4 recap: Kelly might get in more trouble

In Episode 4 of The Rainmaker, Rudy and Sarah discuss Kelly’s condition, as they have not seen her much, and her blinds are always closed. This prompts Rudy to check on her.

Kelly tells him she is fine and that he doesn’t have to check on her. At the end of the episode, when she arrives back home, she calls her husband. However, as she notices he might not be home, she goes straight into the bathroom to take the money hidden in the tissue box but finds none.

She realizes that Cliff knows about it, and as she comes out of the bathroom, she finds him standing in front of her with a crazed look on his face.
