What happened in Episode 6 of The Rainmaker?

In Episode 6 of The Rainmaker, Rudy found a lead in their case. Even after being fired, he was still working on it, and with one of his friends' help, he learned about the insider trading going on in the Hospital. He uses this information in their next deposition, and by pestering Bernie about selling all of his stock before Jackie and Pritcher were fired, lets his team get a win and access to the Tissue Committee documents.

Through the documents, they discover that Donnie Ray wasn't the only victim of Pritcher in the hospital. The serial killer has killed 15 people, including Donnie Ray, and Jackie tried to report about it all of those 15 times. This information is crucial to their case. Furthermore, Wilfred also confesses to knowing Pritcher's killing tendencies and still letting him work. He also shares that reporting to the police about him on time might have been better than now.

However, Leo dismisses his worries and tells him that they will cover everything and protect the Hospital's reputation. Furthermore, Rudy also helped Kelly hide from her husband after being discharged from the hospital. He takes her to Dot's house, where Cliff would not be able to find her.

In the episode of the legal drama, Rudy also received his bar results, in which he scored the highest marks, resulting in the council double-checking his papers. In the next episode, Bruiser and her team might search for more evidence that could hold Pritcher accountable for all the murders, and also save Jackie from him.
