The Rainmaker Episode 6 recap: Rudy finds a way to get the Tissue Committee documents

In Episode 5 of The Rainmaker, Rudy was fired by Bruiser for not following her lead in the case. In Episode 6, he is seen working in Prince’s bar again full-time while also trying to get a job in a law firm.

While the last episode saw Rudy failing in every aspect, this episode was the opposite of that. From getting his bar results to using his annoyance as an advantage during the court deposition, the episode showed that Bruiser and her team are going in the right direction.

While Jackie was still with Pritcher, Rudy hid Kelly so that Cliff would not find her.

The Rainmaker Episode 6 recap: Rudy receives his bar results

In the previous episode of The Rainmaker, Sarah was seen excited about receiving her bar results, while Rudy did not receive his results. In this episode, it was shown why Rudy’s results arrived later than all the others. It was because the council had to double-check his results since he got the highest scores in 10 years.

Apart from the good news of the bar results, Rudy also helps Kelly out when she gets discharged from the hospital. While he wants to take her to his mother’s home, Prince suggests that he should take her somewhere her husband would not be able to find.

Later, he takes her to Donnie Ray’s mother, Dot’s home, where he is sure Cliff won’t be able to find her.

The Rainmaker Episode 6 recap: The team learns that Donnie Ray wasn’t the only victim

In Episode 6 of The Rainmaker, Rudy finds a different angle to get access to the tissue Committee. In the previous episode, Rudy was fired by Bruiser for his annoying behaviour at the previous deposition. However, the same quality was used by him to get what he wanted from Bernie Manford.

He brought the insider angle, which he deduced with the help of one of his friends, and revealed to the court that Manford had sold all of his stock right before Pritcher and Jackie were fired. He questioned him about all of this and more, until the man had to talk about the Tissue Committee, making Tinley Britt give access to the documents to Bruiser and her team, and Rudy getting his job back at Bruiser's firm.

While they looked into the documents, they discovered that there was more to the Donnie Ray case. They found that Jackie did not just raise questions after Donnie’s death, but that happened for 14 other patients, and in all those cases, Pritcher was the nurse.

Another shocking revelation shown in Episode 6 of The Rainmaker was about Wilfred’s confession. While playing golf, he confesses to Leo that he should have informed the police about Pritcher before everything turned into this big mess.

However, Leo dismissed his worries and assured him that Tinley Britt would successfully cover everything up, keeping Great Benefit Hospital’s reputation intact. Furthermore, Sarah has become more embroiled in Leo and Brad’s schemes of grooming her into becoming another lawyer who speaks just like them and a perfect fit for Tinley Britt.

Additionally, Jackie remained captured by Pritcher in the latest episode of the legal drama.
