What happened in Episode 5 of The Rainmaker?
In Episode 5 of The Rainmaker, Rudy had to go against Sarah in their court hearing. As he sensed that he was failing to convince the judge to let them use the Tissue Committee documents, he resorted to revealing the information about a witness who saw Pritcher killing Donnie Ray.
However, Bruiser asked the court to ignore Rudy’s comments and save the case. But this was just the tipping point. Later, after discovering that Pritcher was targeting addicts like his own mother and Donnie Ray to kill, he went to report him to the police, and without evidence, he failed again.
This mistake cost him his job as Bruiser decided to fire Rudy in the episode. Furthermore, Jackie tried to escape from Bruiser and took him to her ex’s home to get some help. She locked Pritcher and asked Amber to call 911, but Amber thought she could take him down, which resulted in both getting attacked by the former nurse.
Her escape plan failed miserably, which left Amber in a coma. Rudy also met Kelly in the hospital, who was brutally beaten by her husband after he found out about her hiding cash from him in the bathroom.
The next episode might reveal Rudy’s plan ahead as he is again fired from a law firm due to not following the orders or respecting his seniors.
