However, while it started with showing the abilities of the group, it changed after Charlie dedicated a song to Sophia, and she had to leave due to finding it all overwhelming and perplexing.

Seeing Sophia like that, Charlie followed her out of the venue, leaving the band in disarray. This results in Danny Mace telling them that they still have a long way to go, but also praising them for their performance. Charlie leaving them on the stage became the reason for their disbandment, as the trust that kept the band together was broken at a crucial time.

The ending of The Runarounds focused on many personal issues that the characters were going through. At the center of those struggles was Charlie’s story From his family’s financial struggles to learning about his real father, Charlie’s story had been one of the most heartbreaking.

While Charlie’s abandonment caused the breakup of the band, it was Bender’s first short film that was dedicated to the lives of the Runarounds, showing the members a reflection of all the times that they had spent together to pursue their dreams.

At the screening of the short film, the band also got a huge surprise when Danny Mace came and asked the band to create an album. It was not only an exciting milestone for the members but also for their managers, and for Sophie, who officially joined as their lyricist.

Further, this contract solves many of the members' money problems, including Charlie’s family, who got a chance to get back their house, which they had almost lost due to not being able to pay the mortgage.
