Season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives gave fans plenty to talk about—long extensions, even longer soda orders, and a tangled web of secrets that unfolded behind closed doors. But just when things really started heating up, the season ended with more questions than answers.

From whispers of betrayal to on-screen breakdowns, Hulu’s not-so-innocent take on MomTok has left viewers wondering what’s next for the wives of Utah. And if there’s a Season 2 Part 2 in the works, here’s everything that needs to be addressed.

With tensions rising and loyalties shifting, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives might just be gearing up for its most chaotic stretch yet. These are the predictions for how things might shake out if the series comes back.

Prediction: Marciano Brunette’s tea won’t go down easily

Marciano Brunette’s entrance in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives was quiet, almost too quiet. The Vanderpump Villa alum was last seen sipping herbal tea, but it’s hard to trust tea or anything from someone with a reputation for lying on his own series.

Marciano dropped a major accusation involving Layla Taylor and Jessi Ngatikaura, then disappeared. What did he gain from lying? And why would Jessi cheat on her husband with a server?

If Part 2 happens, Taylor Frankie Paul should be the one asking questions. She doesn’t dance around the truth, and Marciano won’t be able to dodge her. If Demi was in on it, then it’s time for Mar to flip like a grilled cheeseburger and name names. One way or another, someone’s got to come clean.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives can’t move forward without addressing this mess.

Demi Engemann needs to embrace her villain arc in The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives

Taylor Swift comparisons may sound dramatic, but they make sense in Demi Engemann’s case. Much like the pop star, Demi is divisive; fans either love her or love to hate her. In The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, Demi’s been eyeing the top spot since Season 2 began. She wanted to dethrone the queen bee and claim the hive for herself.

It didn’t exactly go her way.

Taylor Frankie Paul beat her at her own game, but Demi didn’t go down without trying to take the spotlight and a bigger paycheck with her. A producer even commented on the Swift-like behavior, saying during The Viall Files,

“I think the bigger danger that I’ve experienced is when you do a season, and it is received well by the public, and the cast then [thinks] … ‘I am Taylor Swift. And I must have XYZ.’”

He added,

“But I always tell cast members, don’t believe your own hype, your own press, because it can all go away in a heartbeat.”

2 should show Demi fully owning her role, not just reacting to it.

Jen Affleck needs to return and clear the air

Jen Affleck took a break from filming, and it’s easy to understand why. The stress was high, and her family life was even messier. But now that Zac Affleck is making public claims about their marriage, she needs to come back and share her side.

According to Zac, their second child wasn’t exactly a mutual decision. He recently claimed,

“We had one and then a second baby back to back. Jen like, six months after she gave birth, she got pregnant again with her second baby. I got tricked into it.”

He went even further, saying,

“She took out her IUD without telling me.”

It’s a bold claim, and one that likely won’t sit well with Jen. This couple’s relationship has always been on a knife’s edge, from Zac’s discomfort with Chippendales outings to his cold demeanor during arguments. If The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives wants to give fans closure, Jen and Zac’s story needs to be front and center.

The cast needs to stop pretending and start performing

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives thrives when the cast drops the façade. That’s what made the show addictive in the first place. Watching a group of seemingly polished influencers crack under pressure is what gives the series its edge.

Part 2 should hold a mirror up to the cast, especially those who tried to curate their image. The audience is smart. They know when someone’s being real and when they’re playing for the camera. With rumors, alliances, and betrayals stacking up, now’s the time for everyone to get honest, or at least entertainingly dramatic.

If Demi wants to play the misunderstood mastermind, she should lean in. If Marciano wants to be taken seriously, he needs to bring more than tea. And if Jen wants fans on her side, she has to stop disappearing every time Zac opens his mouth.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives doesn’t need new cast members. It just needs the current ones to show up emotionally, and with receipts. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is streaming now on Hulu in the U.S. and on Disney+ in the UK.
