The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Layla Taylor and Whitney Leavitt opened up about Marciano Brunette's confession during their interview with Decider on May 23, 2025. The duo revealed what Marciano confessed about their co-star Jessi Ngatikaura.

Fans must remember how the recently released second season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives ended with an unexpected cliffhanger. Viewers witnessed Vanderpump Villa star Marciano Brunette telling Layla Taylor about his alleged romantic connection with Jessi Ngatikaura.

Recalling what happened and how Marciano's confession came up, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Layla Taylor said:

"I think with that, there's so much that’s been going on. There's so much behind the scenes, there is so much talk, there's much he said, she said, and I think the viewers are just gonna have to keep watching."

Layla Taylor faced the question about a fan theory mentioning Demi Engemann and Marciano Brunette's "flirty encounter." She had a conversation with Marciano about the girls' trip to Italy.

While she wanted to find out about him and Demi, he confessed to having an alleged romantic connection with a married MomTok influencer and her co-star Jessi. As he opened up and stated about the alleged connection with Jessi, Taylor's jaw "physically" hit the floor.

Sharing more about Marciano, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Layla Taylor said that it was "really hard" to navigate.

"No one wants to find that out and to have to find it out with everybody else finding it out with you, I think is really hard to navigate. We're all figuring that out together because these are our real lives and these are really serious situations," added Taylor.

Since Layla and Whitney are currently filming the show's third season, they couldn't reveal more details.

However, Whitney reacted to Mikalya Matthews and Jessi's comments about Demi wanting to stage an affair with Dakota Mortense. The two opened up about that during their recent appearance on the Viall Files podcast. Fans must remember that Taylor Frankie's Paul shares a child with him.

Referring to that and how Jessi Ngatikaura and Demi Engemann shared that in the podcast, Whitney said that:

"I haven't listened to that podcast. But if I'm going to be completely honest with you, I don't even know how to respond to that. I think it's just so incredibly inappropriate that that was even shared. So, that's my answer to that."
