Some summers change you forever, and for Belly, The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 is one that forces her to finally grow up. After three amazing years at Finch, she is now gearing up for her study abroad in Paris, the city everyone wants to visit at least once in their lifetime.
The premiere episodes have shown that a lot has changed, though one thing that hasn’t is Belly’s love for Jeremiah. Even after finding out that he cheated on her while the two broke up (temporarily), she said "yes" to marry him.
At the end of Episode 2, Jeremiah and Belly realized that they cannot live without each other and must tie the knot. So, Jeremiah Fisher proposed, and Belly Conklin only took a second to accept the proposal.
In Episode 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, the two are engaged. Yes, you read that right. Jeremiah finally brought a ring for Belly, but she cannot wear it yet as they haven't told anybody except Taylor, Belly's most beloved friend.

The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 3 recap: Belly and Jeremiah are engaged
The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 3, titled Last Supper, begins with Belly and Jeremiah cuddling, as Belly will soon be home, and Taylor is already waiting for her to catch up at breakfast.
However, before Belly leaves, Jeremiah proposes to her again — this time with a ring. Although it is pretty small, for Belly, it is definitely the most beautiful ring she has ever had. She is excited to share the news with everyone, but is also anxious about how her mom will react to it.
Belly’s dad drives her home, and on the way she considers telling him that his little girl is getting married. But she holds back, deciding to wait until everyone has gathered at Susannah’s garden memorial, the moment she and Jeremiah have chosen to share their big news.
The only person Belly couldn’t resist telling was Taylor, who was shocked at first. She even reminded Belly that Jeremiah had once cheated on her, and questioned how she could say yes so quickly. Belly was hurt by Taylor’s reaction, but once they got home, Taylor apologized.
She mentioned being the "Founding member of Team Jellyfish and the captain of Team Belly," ensuring her best friend that she's happy about her decision. Later in Episode 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, Jeremiah and Belly talk over the phone, and Jeremiah suggests that they should tell Conrad about their engagement. Belly, however, thinks it’d be better if he did it alone.

Taylor and Steven's relationship is still on pause in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 3
In the same episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, Steven and Taylor's relationship is on hold. While Taylor is feeling low about how she treated Steven before the accident, he is more focused on his work.
While at home, being taken care of by his mother, Steven tells his dad he is serious about his work and aims for a bright future. His father understands, and says he will get his laptop back from his mother, who previously took it as Steven shouldn't get exposed to the screen during his recovery.
Later, Taylor's mother, Luncinda, calls him and asks if he can help her out with the accounts of her salon. After analyzing them, Steven reveals to Taylor that her mother's salon is "bleeding cash".
Taylor feels frustrated to learn her mother took help from Steven and didn't even tell her. Later, she talks to Luncinda and comforts her. Taylor ensures her support, saying she'll help her get things back to normal at the salon.
Conrad is still not over Belly in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3
As for Conrad in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, he is still struggling to meet everyone, as it would only bring back memories. Importantly, he has to see his brother and Belly together as a couple.
His friend Agnes suggests Conrad should take "exposure therapy" and leave the past behind. Now that he is no longer working at Dr. Namazy's, Conrad is willing to take a job at the Garth lab.
And the moment Bonrad shippers must be waiting for, finally comes. Conrad makes it to his mother's garden memorial ceremiony, though he missed the speech. He meets everyone, incluidng Belly, who's his "Little sis" according to Conrad's father.
Belly announces her engagement with Jeremiah in The Summer I Turned Pretty, Season 3, Episode 3
As The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 Episode 3 nears its end, Susannah, Conrad, and Jeremiah's father raise a toast for each of them, reminding them how well the kids (who are no more kids) are doing in their lives.
However, when it comes to Jeremiah, his father insults him indirectly. Belly couldn't stop hereself from defendng Jer and says that Jeremiah also has big plans for the future. She announces:
"We're getting married, in August."
Everyone including Laurel is clearly shaken to hear the news. Laurel even suggests the two can foster a pet together instead of making the big decision of walking down the aisle so early. Conrad seems heartbroken as he cannot believe that he came to the ceremony to hear that his beloved is getting married. So, what happens next?
