The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 kicked off with Belly and Jeremiah deciding to walk down the aisle, even if many think it wasn't a great idea. Despite Laurel and Adam's initial disapproval, the two didn't change the plan, with Jere claiming that he wants to spend the rest of his life with Belly.
However, their lives took a drastic turn in episode 8, when everyone learned about Conrad's confession, including his little brother. Jere realized that Belly and Conrad still like each other and that he must step back.
The wedding drama hit him hard as Belly was his entire world. Jeremiah cries, drinks, and blames Conrad for everything that has happened lately. He has been hurting for days, but after reconciling with his elder brother and Denise's unexpected guidance, Jeremiah Fisher finally decided to let Belly go.
As seen in the penultimate episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3, Conrad confronts Jeremiah, and the two brothers finally resolve their conflicts. Later, Jere even called Belly and said that he must let her go, and they both should move on.
Jeremiah steps away from Belly in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3
Bonrad shippers were eager for Jeremiah to call off his wedding to Belly, and he finally did in Episode 8. However, even though this was the moment many had been waiting for, it was impossible not to feel sympathy for Jeremiah.
His love for Belly was genuine, and watching him step aside left fans, even those rooting for Conrad, with a heavy heart. It was actually a moment viewers felt heartbroken for both Jere and Conrad.
After Belly got settled in Paris, she contacted her mom and Taylor, keeping them updated with her life. She knew that Jere was hurting and gave him time to heal. In episode 10, Jeremiah realizes what went wrong and how he can fix himself.
He calls Belly, asks about her well-being, and finally mentions letting her go. This makes Belly happy as she wishes the same for her childhood best friend and wants Jere to be happy in his life.
After Adam mentioned cutting off Jeremiah from him, the younger Fisher has been living on his own. Jere crashed at Denise's place and is currently working at a restaurant. So, he finally shows some growth and has begun to move on from Belly in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3.
