The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5 recap- Raife's dark side and Ben's struggles with Eliza

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5 titled 'E & E', opened in the aftermath of Ben Edwards and Raife Hastings' ambush and Eliza's betrayal in Episode 4. While both ex-Navy SEAL officers managed to escape their ordeal in the latest episode, they were introduced to even more threats and challenges from all sides.

Ben Edwards is still after the nuclear centrifuge bearings bound for Iran, which are now in Eliza's possession. While he nearly came close to breaching the convoy and securing the briefcase, Eliza betrayed him at the last moment by shooting him and leaving him unconcious in a tunnel.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5 picks up momentum as Ben tracks Eliza and questions her about her betrayal. She maintains that her loyalties only lie with her daughter and asserts her individual mission to track down The Shepherd. As Ben and Eliza finally share a moment when he starts to understand her helplessness and obligation, a tragedy separates them forever, setting the stage for an explosive penultimate episode.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5 recap- Ben struggles to trust Eliza

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5 was a difficult hour for Ben as he struggled to regain consciousness after the ambush in the previous episode. While he is brutally wounded in the back, he manages to track down Eliza on the streets of Germany and closes in on her in a nearby hotel. Ben and the veteran Mossad operative now stood at opposite sides, and the former points a gun at her head and demands to know who she works for.

Just as Eliza explains to Ben that she is on a separate mission and did not mean to betray the team, the pair are attacked by a QRF team in the hotel. While Ben does not trust Eliza, he still saves her, and the duo manages to fight their way from the hotel and escape on the streets. When Ben announces that the couple is done for good, Eliza states that she is looking for 'The Shepherad' and investigating his secret connection with Jed Haverford. Ben, who still doesn't trust Eliza after her stunt in The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 4, agrees to work with her for now.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5- Raife learns the cost of pushing his limits

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5 also checked in with Raife Hastings, who had escaped to Austria with the courier after the events of Episode 4. He manages to find an abandoned cabin and stitches up the badly wounded man, only to torture him for further information. Raife believes that the courier is part of the Khalid Network, and he plans to know how they are keeping tabs on the Brotherhood's movements.

This is where The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5 gets extremely graphic as Raife unleashes his dark side and tortures the man for information. Raife tries every possible method of torture, including water deprivation, slicing through the man's skin, and verbal manipulation. He even applies lye to his skin, which sizzles his already bleeding wounds, but the man does not budge.

Finally, after hours of torture, the man breaks and reveals that he is actually a 'friendly' (ally), a part of German Intelligence. Realising that he has been torturing an ally for hours, he begins to patch the man up, but it is too late, and the man succumbs to his death, following Raife's methods of extreme torture.

The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5- Is Eliza dead?

The final moments of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5 shift back to Eliza and Ben, who are currently working together. The duo decides to head to a town called Stein to meet Haverford about the bearings. On their way, a motorcyclist places a bomb on their car amid the traffic. Ben manages to escape from the car and goes after the enemy, who turns around to kill both Ben and Eliza. While Ben shoots the unknown enemy first, it is too late for Eliza, and the vehicle explodes in flames.

As Ben tries to understand his surroundings, he sees Eliza's vehicle going up in flames, and the episode ends with this shocking death. Ben removes the deceased Mossad agent's bracelet and retrieves the bearings on her. He leaves like a man on a mission, now more fiercely driven. While the mastermind behind this attack was not revealed, the motorcyclist was likely a part of the QRF unit that ambushed the pair in the hotel earlier.
