The penultimate episode will increase the stakes of this action-packed drama for Ben Edwards and Raife Hastings. After the shocking death of Eliza in Episode 5, Ben is left alone to hunt for The Shepherd and uncover his secret connection to Jed Haverford. The synopsis hints that Eliza's death will act as a catalyst, forcing Ben to rejoin the team. While he has the bearings for now, they came at a huge cost for him.
Elsewhere, Raife learned the cost of pushing his limits as his extreme methods of torture led to the death of an ally. While Jed's reckless leadership and Eliza's betrayal have already pushed him to the edge, this will unlock even more levels of desperation, and he will refuse to accept direct orders.
The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5 featured a shocking death
While Ben was unsure about Eliza throughout The Terminal List: Dark Wolf Episode 5, she proved that she was completing her assignment and had not betrayed the team. Ben finally came around when she revealed that she is chasing 'The Shepherd' and investigating why Jed Haverford wants him. Ben's curiosity gets the best of him, and he agrees to work together with Eliza.
The final moments of Episode 5 saw Ben and Eliza heading out to meet Haverford, when a motorcyclist placed a bomb on their car amidst the traffic. Ben barely made it out alive and managed to shoot the enemy who wanted them dead, but it was too late for Eliza. She was shockingly killed in the operation, thus also proving that she was, in fact, not betraying her team. The consequences of Eliza's death will continue to rule The Terminal List: Dark Wolf as Ben takes out her bracelet & the bearings, and leaves like a man on a dangerous mission.
Elsewhere in Austria, Raife struggles with the consequences of his actions when the courier reveals his true identity as a German Intelligence officer. While Raife learned that the courier man was not a part of the Khalid Network, it was simply too late, as he had already succumbed to his death because of Raife's torture, leaving Raife in immense guilt.
