Episode 6 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 brings more truth about Antonio's past. As he reminisces about old times, he also reveals how his wife died, and Roberto finally learns the truth. Furthermore, Carol also figures out that Fede had poisoned Roberto.

Elsewhere, Daryl finds a companion in Paz as she decides to help him rescue Justina from El Alcazar and is helped by a group of women. However, Paz has another motive to help Daryl, which she hasn't disclosed to him yet.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 Episode 6 recap - Paz helps Daryl in rescuing Justina

Daryl seems more eager to rescue Justina than he was at the beginning of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3. In Episode 6, he finds help in Paz as she joins the cause.

However, her motive differs a little from Daryl as she wants to also rescue Elena, Guillermo's wife, from there. For help, Paz introduces more women, who once fled the community due to the La Ofrendas. The women are ready to attack the El Alcazar.

Just as Guillermo and Elena are outside the city gates, Paz and the women, now disguised as armed guards, attack the convoy. While the fight continues, Daryl finds Justina and another girl captured in a cage. They try to break open the cage but fail.

On the other hand, one of the woman, Laia, tries to blow Guillermo up with a rocket launcher, but Paz interferes at the right time, saving Elena, who was riding with Guillermo in the vehicle. However, the missile hits the place where walkers were locked up. At the end, Daryl and Paz are left alone to rescue Justina as the other women flee after the walkers get closer to them.

In Episode 6 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 Fede learns that there is no one in the boatyard and that the three men El Alcazar was looking for were now walkers, suggesting that Carol had been lying about Daryl. He then asks his mother to stop treating Roberto.

Later, Roberto, whose health was improving, found himself getting worse. After Fede refuses to give her medicine, she figures out that Roberto might have been poisoned by Fede, just like Antonio's cat. In a desperate attempt, she sneaks into Fede's office to look for the medicines, but is caught by his mother.

With the help of the little Spanish she has learned, she tries to explain the truth to Fede's mother that he had poisoned Roberto, which prompts her to help Carol.

Episode 6 of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 3 also showed several moments between Carol and Antonio, which are a proof that the former might be falling for the Spanish man. While showing her the footage about the family's life before the zombie apocalypse, Antonio also reveals the truth behind the death of his wife.

It is revealed that Antonio wanted to make a documentary film about Spanish terrorists. His wife did not want to get involved, but he made her interview the Prime Minister. This resulted in her death when a bomb was planted in the car she was in. He has not been able to tell the truth to his son, and this is the truth that due to which Fede the upper hand on him. However, Roberto overhears their conversation and also watches the footage, making it a heartbreaking moment.

Later, Carol also decides to hide and take Roberto to the boatyard for his safety. However, their plan almost fails when Fede decides to check the vehicle until Antonio comes and confronts him about telling the people of the community about Justina and how he tried to poison his son. As these accusations grab his attention, Carol is let go, with Roberto hiding in the vehicle.
