After an intense, nail-biting season featuring Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Negan, Lauren Cohan as Maggie, and Lisa Emery as the Dama, The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 2 is finally coming to an end.
In the penultimate episode, we saw how Maggie's search for his son Hershel took her to the New York Times building where she united with him. However, the reunion was short-lived; the Dama, who was presumably dead, reappeared and knocked her down. Now that the Dama is back and Hershel thoroughly brainwashed, can Maggie save her son? The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 2 Episode 7: A quick rundown
The penultimate episode of The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 2, titled Novi Dan Novi Pocetak, began on a slower note, but it delivered one of the most shocking twists of the season.
Maggie continued her desperate search for her son, Hershel, which led her to the King Francis Theatre. There she encountered the Croat, who appeared broken and disoriented after the Dama's presumed death. Determined to find her son, Maggie and the Croat forged a fragile alliance. As they navigated the ruins of Manhattan, the Croat opened up about his traumatic past and the Dama's manipulative grip on him. After a perilous climb, Maggie finally reunited with Hershel at the New York Times Building- but relief turned to horror when she saw The Dama was alive. Before she could process the entire thing, the Dama knocked her down.
On the other hand, Negan seemed determined to save Ginny, especially after he got some flashbacks of his first wife, Lucille. Negan decided to go to the Bellevue hospital to get some medicines for Ginny. When he entered the quiet hallways of the walker-infested hospital, he saw a child walker who pushed him. After a short mishap, he managed to cross the pediatrics ward and reach the operating room, where he saw someone running away with the bag of medicines. As he chased him down through the room full of walker children, he managed to get hold of the person. When he had a closer look, he saw that the bag was empty and that it was a walker, not a human. He had hallucinations of his present wife and son, who pointed towards a machine. Negan got the hint and carried it to the church. When he reached the church, he informed Pierce to leave the location as Bruegel's men might launch an attack. Negan, however, chose to stay behind and look after Ginny.

The synopsis of the finale episode reads,
"Maggie makes a painful choice, while Negan puts on a show"
The finale preview teaser opens with a shot of the Dama, where she firmly tells an injured Maggie,
"I was hoping we'd get to meet."
As she continues,
"This is about Negan. I have to finish it."
Elsewhere, we also get a glimpse of Negan as he prepares for the battle, and utters,
"The show's about to start. Ennie Meenie Minee Mo"
In the next sneak peek, we see Maggie, Bruegel, and Perlie arrive at the church to find Negan. With soldiers marching on the street, the walkers growling to Negan slashing a head with his Lucille, the finale promises to be grittier than ever.
We see a furious Maggie, slitting the throats of anybody stopping her, and Bruegel using his flamethrower. In the closing scenes, Maggie angrily picks up Negan's favourite weapon, Lucille 2.0.
