When we think of TV icons, we usually imagine stars or directors. But behind every crisp line delivery and smooth cut is the script supervisor, like Amy Lacy. Also known as Amy Blanc Lacy, she was one of the best in the business!
A familiar presence on sets from The Walking Dead to Loki, Amy Lacy shaped over three decades of film and TV. Her life was cut short after a car accident on September 1, 2025, leaving Hollywood and fans reeling.
A GoFundMe campaign that raised more than $58,000 of its $60,000 goal helped her family overcome their heartbreak.
Fans of The Walking Dead and Loki (two of the franchises where she left her mark) have stepped up to ensure the support of her children.
Amy Lacy's car accident and her last gift
On September 1, Amy was in a car with her two sons, Adrian and Oliver, when another vehicle struck them. The boys were hospitalized with minor injuries and later discharged, but Amy suffered brain and spinal cord injuries. By September 5, Amy Lacy's loved ones removed life support as she wished.
In line with her generosity, Amy was an organ donor.
More than 46 people will receive lifesaving transplants because of her decision. "Amy, your spirit will forever illuminate our lives, and you will continue to dance in our hearts," her family wrote on the fundraiser page.
