Carl Grimes dies by suicide in The Walking Dead. Grimes (played by Chandler Riggs) was accidentally pushed by Siddiq during a fight resulting in him tripping and getting bitten by one of the walkers in his stomach. Carl Grimes later shows the bite mark to his dad Rick and Michonne.

To save them from the agony of putting him down, Carl Grimes himself chooses to commit suicide to avoid turning into a walker. Grimes’ death is considered to be one of the saddest deaths amongst TWD fans.
