The White Lotus is back on everyone’s mind again. Season 4 is one of the most talked-about shows right now, and fans can’t wait to see what happens next. Over the last three seasons, we have laughed, gasped, and cringed at the strange blend of guests who bring their own drama to the resorts. Each new season gave us some wild twists, weird characters, and beautiful locations that made us wish we were there. Minus the troubles, of course.

The White Lotus is special because of the way each season feels fresh but still connected. Season 1 took us to Hawaii, where paradise was not as peaceful as it looked. Season 2 moved to Sicily, where love, betrayal, and secrets played out under the Italian sun. Then Season 3 landed in Thailand. It gave us stunning beaches and a deeper look at themes like life, death, and spirituality. Every season has a new hotel, a new group of guests, and a new mystery waiting to be solved.

The location feels like a character in the story here. The show always films at Four Seasons resorts. And these places add beauty and luxury that fit the drama perfectly. The hotels may look dreamy, but there is always trouble hiding under the surface. That’s why fans are so excited about Season 4.

This time, the story is moving to France, and everyone is already guessing which glamorous resort will become the next White Lotus.

The White Lotus: Is it going to be snowy this time?

Murder is one of the things that stays the same in The White Lotus. Other things that remain constant are jaw-dropping locations and a look at how rich people lifestyle. The show loves to throw us into these dreamy spots that look like paradise at first. But we know the truth. Trouble always finds its way into those perfect-looking resorts.

Most of the time, the story has been set in sunny and tropical places. And that has been a big part of the show’s charm. But this time, things feel different. When news broke that The White Lotus Season 4 would move to France, it instantly reminded us of something Mike White said in an interview with Deadline.

White talked about wanting to move away from “the crashing waves of rocks” look. At the same time, he teased that there is always room for more murders at a White Lotus hotel. That line makes us think about snow instead of sand. France has three Four Seasons resorts. And one of them fits that snowy idea.

The most famous is the Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat. This one sits on the French Riviera. It is right between Nice and Monaco. It is glamorous and filled with old-world charm. You can picture the elite guests of The White Lotus sipping cocktails in the gardens or watching the Mediterranean sparkle in the distance. It would be a stunning setting, no doubt.

Then there is the Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris. This one is all about city life. It is right in the heart of Paris, just steps away from the Champs-Élysées. But it doesn’t really match the usual The White Lotus pattern. The show has always leaned into places that feel a little hidden and a bit away from the noise. A city hotel might not give that same sense of escape, or that eerie cover for a murder mystery.

That is why the Four Seasons Hotel Megève feels like the most exciting pick. This resort is wrapped in snow and surrounded by mountains. It is tucked into the French Alps. Guests here can ski straight from the door, warm up by a fire, or relax in a spa that looks out over white peaks. Secrets would feel heavier in those long, silent winter nights in The White Lotus. It has all the makings of the perfect crime scene.

If The White Lotus chooses Megève, it will be a big change from the beachy waves we’re used to. But it also makes sense. Snow instead of sand, firelight instead of sunsets, and a whole new kind of haunting beauty. It could be the most chilling season yet.
