What happened in The Winning Try Episode 9-10?

In Episodes 9 and 10 of The Winning Try, Ga-ram made up with Heung-nam after revealing his health condition, while U-jin, due to her mother, has to train with her abuser. U-jin is not able to keep her balance and shoot.

This prompts I-ji to beg Coach Nak-gyeon to let her come back to the school, which allows her to help U-jin get back on her feet and participate in the nationals. While I-ji and Ga-ram’s relationship improves, Seong-jun becomes distracted by Ung and U-jin’s closeness, resulting in an injury to his shoulder.

After Ga-ram learns about his injury, he orders him to rest as advised by the doctor. However, he does not want the team to miss the opportunity to participate in the nationals due to his injury and thus wants to go back to playing rugby. His desperation takes him to an unethical way as he buys steroids to use.

However, the school finds out about it, and as he hadn’t consumed the drugs, Ga-ram takes the blame on himself and reveals to everyone about his health condition.

The finale will reveal whether Ga-ram is allowed to coach the team in the nationals or is expelled by the school.
