After leaving her husband, Steve, Molly embarks on her journey to know more about her s*xuality. From not being offended by the explicit gesture of the unknown men on the streets to creating a profile in a dating app, Molly begins to embrace the first step of her journey.
As she joins the dating app, she becomes happy with how many inappropriate pics she begins receiving from the men in the app, making it one of the hilarious moments from Dying for Sex.
9) Molly avoids men (Episode 2)

While she wants to achieve her goals, her doctor informs her that the new plan and medications will induce menopause, causing a decline in her libido. She knows that she doesn’t have much time left, so she calls one of the men named Jason R. from the app to meet in a hotel. However, as she sees the man in the hotel, she changes her direction, not being able to have the courage to meet him.
But this hilarious moment doesn’t end here in episode 2 of Dying for Sex as Molly encounters another man in the elevator and invites him to accompany her to her room, but again backs out by telling him that she changed her mind and ends up alone in her room.
8) Molly infects Nikki’s laptop with a virus (Episode 2)

While Molly failed to spend time with any of the two men in the motel in episode 2 of Dying for Sex, she still tried to have a good time alone. She watched Speed, starring Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock, and also got intimate with a man on video camera.
While they had fun, this incident also resulted in infecting Nikki’s laptop with a virus, which Molly had to inform Nikki about later, making another funny moment.
7) Molly asks for dating advice (Episode 3)

While struggling with medications and her health, Molly keeps constantly thinking about experiencing an org*sm, but does not know how to approach men after her failed escapade in the hotel in Episode 2 of Dying for Sex. After being introduced to a cancer group by her palliative care specialist, Sonya, Molly again creates an awkward and funny moment by asking dating and s*x advice from women who have stage IV cancer.

In episode 3 of Dying for Sex, Molly and a neighbor guy, played by Rob Delaney, meet at his apartment with him asking her to kick his private parts, which she does. Unfortunately, she hurts herself in the process and is taken to the hospital. Nikki tries to find a doctor for Molly as she cries in pain, but when she arrives with a doctor, Molly rejects him as he is too young.
She says she does not want a virgin doctor in her cancer journey after asking him why he is so young if he is a doctor. The humor in the painful situation for Molly increases when Nikki brings an older doctor, who happens to be the clown of the hospital, but they don’t know until he coughs up some cards out of his mouth as a magic trick, leaving them speechless for a moment.
There are many scenes in the anthology series that, while depicting a painful moment in Molly’s life, add a little bit of silliness to it with incidents like the above one.
4) Molly introduces her cane as a kink (Episode 4)

Molly’s health has been deteriorating as seen in episode 3 of Dying for Sex, where Molly fractured her femur. After meeting with Sonya’s ex, G, and learns more about the unconventional ways to use in her s*xual quest in episode 4.
She then goes to meet Hooper with her cane after the surgery, which he notices and asks about. Without revealing her personal struggles, Molly just tells him it was just part of the kink, which Hooper accepts, and they get on with their activities. While Molly is suffering from the painful last days of her life, she still appears to be strong to people who don’t know her, and also adds humor here and there to cover her real vulnerabilities.
3) Gail walks in on Molly and Pet (Episode 5)

After Steve reveals that he is seeing someone, Molly also introduces Pet as someone she is seeing in episode 5 of Dying for Sex. Later, after all of her visitors are gone, Molly and Pet indulge in more of their unconventional activities in her bathroom.
The moment becomes hilarious when Molly’s mother, Gail, walks in on the two and is horrified by what she sees. She later asks Molly if people like these kinds of things that she is doing with Pet. While agreeing to Gail, Molly also tells her she is trying new things to know more about what she likes.

2) Neighbor Guy helps in removing Pet’s collar (Episode 5)

Seeing them in a compromised position was not the only funny moment in episode 5 of Dying for Sex. After finding out about Molly having cancer and going through her chemotherapy, Pet panics by thinking about having chemo all over his body, and on top of that, his efforts to open the collar fail.
Later, it's Neighbor Guy who comes to the rescue as he helps Pet with his collar, depicting an awkward yet comical incident amid the sombre moment.
1) Nikki entertains Molly (Episode 7)

While the first half of Dying for Sex was hilarious and explored so much about Molly, the second half was more on the serious side of the story as Molly’s condition began to worsen. After she was back at the hospital with a tube down her throat as she was not able to breathe on her own, Nikki kept company with her best friends, bringing scripts with her to keep her entertained.
She even performs a hilarious version of A Midsummer Night's Dream and later gives an impression of how French sounds, which is one of the funniest moments of the series, and even gets a thumbs up from Molly. While these were the last few moments of Molly’s life, Nikki made those moments funnier and later even brought Neighbor Guy to meet Molly.
