The best thing about Netflix's Leanne is the sisters' bond that Carol (Kristen Johnston) and Leanne (Leanne Morgan) share. While both have different personalities, in the hour of need, after being separated from her husband, Leanne leans on her sister for support.
Carol adds the sharp edge to Leanne’s kind personality and stops her sister from falling into the sadness of her state by pushing her into dating. Throughout season 1, we see how Carol helps Leanne find herself outside of her broken marriage and not in a sentimental way, but in a more unhinged and humorous way, which is what we would expect from sisters who have seen each other grow together.
Here are 7 Leanne and Carol moments from Leanne that can be regarded as sister goals.

These 7 Leanne and Carol moments from Leanne can give you sister goals
7) Carol becomes Leanne's support system after the divorce (Episode 1)

From the beginning of the series, we are introduced to the camaraderie between the sisters as they talk about Leanne's marriage and Bill’s affair. She tells her sister how she turned Tommy Turner down to marry Bill, to which Carol comments about Tommy's cute looks.
This showcases the sisters being in each other’s lives for years, as they know all the major or minor and unimportant details about each other and can delve away from a conversation that still makes sense to them and is funny for us. While talking about the betrayal, Carol also promises to be there for her sister in this emotional hour.
6) Carol takes Leanne to a pub (Episode 3)

Carol does not like how Leanne spends her time sulking and eating lasagna, so she thinks of taking her sister out to cheer her up. In episode 3, she makes Leanne dress up glamorously and takes a nervous Leanne to a pub.
Other than taking her sister out, she also tries to put it out in the open about her sister’s single status so that she can try to move on. While being one of the funniest and highlighted moments of the episode, this is also one of those moments where their sister relationship shines through as Carol tries to take care of her sister in her own way.
5) Carol tells Leanne she is proud of her (Episode 4)

Another sister goals moment between the duo happens in Episode 4 of Leanne when they go to meet a lawyer named Laura to discuss the divorce. While talking about their financial details, they also discuss whether Leanne would want any of the things owned by Bill in the divorce.
With funny takes from both Carol and Laura, the meeting with the attorney was one of the crucial parts of Leanne moving on, which does not go unnoticed by Carol, as she tells her she is proud of her sister for moving on after the betrayal by Bill.
4) Carol supports Leanne in her weight loss process (Episode 5)

All the scenes of the sisters together will make you want to pause and laugh your heart out. In Episode 5, there is one more scene where Leanne tries to enjoy her bone broth as she is on a strict weight loss journey, while Carol eats her chicken parmesan just beside her.
Carol asks if her broth is good, with Leanne telling her it tastes like meat-flavored water. Carol is disgusted but still tells her that she supports her decision and proceeds to eat her food. Leanne couldn’t help but look at her eating her delicious food, showcasing one of the funniest and relatable scenes in the show.
3) Carol and Leanne become investigation partners (Episode 10)

What better partner in crime than a sibling who is as chaotic as you? That’s what happens in Episode 10 of the Netflix sitcom when Leanne finds out about Andrew’s father’s death.
She shares this information with Carol, as Andrew did not show any emotion toward the devastating news. With the sisters sharing theories from their father being a ped*phile to Andrew being a sociopath, they began an investigation of their own to find out if Andrew had any childhood trauma.
2) Carol encourages Leanne to kiss Andrew (Episode 8)

Carol has been, from the very start of the show, in support of Leanne moving on from her broken marriage. After being teased a little, Leanne tells Mary and Carol that she has kissed Andrew’s cheek, to which Carol tells her to take the next step.
She tells her that kissing is not a big deal and encourages Leanne, in her sassy way, to finally kiss Andrew, depicting how much effort she puts in pushing her sister toward a new and exciting life.
1) Carol confronts Bill (Episode 16)

While also giving emotional and every other kind of support to her sister, Carol also happens to be the one who, while lecturing Bill, also informs him about Leanne’s moving on with a new man in her life. This sparks Bill’s attention on her estranged wife’s life.
She tells him that Leanne and her new man, Andrew, have even said 'I love you’ to each other and have gone on a vacation together, escalating jealousy in the man. This is one of the most real and funny moments where the sisters are not present together, but still one of them is taking an aggressive side for the other.
