Dexter Morgan is back! Showtime recently released an intense teaser for Dexter: Resurrection, shortly before the official trailer. This short teaser before the trailer has increased fan excitement tenfold.
Resurrection is a sequel spin-off series to Showtime's 2006 crime series Dexter, which followed the life of the titular protagonist (played by Michael C. Hall) who led a secret parallel life as a 'vigilante' serial killer.
The success of the parent series paved the way for three spin-off series, one prequel titled Dexter: Original Sin, and two sequels, Dexter: New Blood and Dexter: Resurrection.
Dexter: Resurrection will see Hall reprise his killer character, Dexter Morgan, and will directly follow the events after New Blood.
The newly shared teaser shows Dexter in the hospital after his son, Harrison (Jack Alcott), shot him in New Blood. The new teaser has left fans in a frenzy, with Reddit user u/MrEhcks welcoming the show for a third chapter:

Fans go crazy as Dexter: Resurrection unveils a new teaser ahead of the trailer
For months now, fans have been waiting for the Dexter: Resurrection trailer or some footage of the new episodes. At last, these demands were met and a short (but very intense) teaser was shared across all Dexter social media platforms.
The trailer gives a sneak peek into Dexter's new life and also suggests that his son Harrison is ready to inherit his killing legacy.
In addition to the fresh snippets from the new season, fans are speculating that Dexter's son Harrison, will fully embody his father's killing streak in the new series. The trailer shows a young man using a butcher's knife to brutally kill someone and then try to dispose of his body from the crime scene.

Even before the full trailer, Dexter: Resurrection's teaser introduced the major players who will be up against our protagonist in the spin-off series.
Fans are excited to see Game of Thrones fame Peter Dinklage, whose first glimpse as Leon Prater looks promising. The actor is known for his passionate and intense acting, and he will be the perfect fit for the new season.
Another exciting character introduction was Uma Thurman's Charley. With sunglasses, a hat, and a baseball bat covered in nails, Charley already looks stylish but dangerous. Fans are speculating that she might be one of the characters who will go after Dexter and his son in the upcoming series.
In addition, actor David Zayas is also back as Angel Batista, who probably looks like he's waiting outside the hospital for Dexter to wake up.
